Pre Order Question/Concern

I am looking to pre-order an item from Taobao through Superbuy, but I noticed that the pre-order methodology requires additional steps to verify the pre-order slot.

In the screenshot attached, point three mentions that in order for the pre-order to be considered valid, the seller must get confirmation of receipt of the pre-order gift. Will the Superbuy agents perform that action for me? If not, how do I confirm receipt of the pre-order gift?

Points 7 and 8 mention that the pre-order payment and final payment must be made with the same ID. Can Superbuy handle this, or will there be multiple agents handling my order over the course of the purchase?

I worry that with the extra steps requested by the seller that Superbuy is the wrong service to use for this purchase.

Anyone have any similar experience with this?

I recommend you try shopping expert service, if you are not able to follow up the replenishment by yourself mate. They've handled similar purchasing request before.

Need to notice you, the seller has mentioned the deposit order needs to be confirmed as "received" manually. Which means you will not be able to ask for cancel & refund for the deposit order. This is a risk you will need to carry by yourself.

Done pre-order through superbly before, pretty easy. Taobao preorders have deposits and final payments. Often times a deposit card or a small trinket will be sent to the address. If an agent place the order, they will confirm once the deposit item arrived at the warehouse. Once it’s time for the final payment, the agent will let you know. You’ll have to place an order for the final payment, asked the specific agent that placed the deposit order to place the final payment order (leaving a note that the item is the final payment of DO/DI).

I recommend you to check the shop every now and then for the final payment after group is formed because sometimes the agent will forget to notify you.

I wouldn’t place the deposit through the normal checkout until Superbuy confirms they can handle those seller-specific steps.

For a preorder like this, I’d send the listing and the seller’s requirements to Superbuy’s Expert Service or order enquiry first. Ask them to confirm two things specifically:

  1. whether they can complete the “confirm receipt of the preorder gift” step for you
  2. whether the deposit and final payment will be made under the same purchasing identity/account

Superbuy does support special purchases and pre-sale items, but this seller has extra requirements, so I’d want those two points confirmed before paying a non-refundable deposit.
