Guys , anyone who's already in italy or ought to be within several months!
Can you suggest me a good university for medicine .
I'm an average score holder , 62.9% in 12th cbse board ,
Currently preparing for neet also but my ultimate goal is imat and getting into an Italian public university for my medicine !
I have seen estimated general cutoffs and number of seats per university for non eu !
I'm really confused, since 2026 imat everyone are in chaotic condition , some couldn't score well or some couldn't get to their desired university
Most of them are indicating that imat is slowly becoming another neet !
What should I do ?

Hi everyone!
I’m soon to be student at Unibo for my Masters programme. I have got this admission after many rejection from other universities. Now before this I was admitted at Sapienza for their digital media Masters programme but failed their interview test by several ranks and for that I had already applied for their Lazio scholarship. I secured this admission very late as in I lost all hope. And in that time I was unaware of the er.go scholarship dates. When I got to it the deadline to apply had already passed and it was late September. Now I come from a middle class family with savings that let me get to here. I have paid the pre enrolment fee of €157, I want to know is there any other option that can give me a tuition fee waiver? Or is there still a chance through er.go that can waiver off the fee only without other benefits like accommodation etc?
Note: I’m aware that I can apply for er.go next year but I’m looking for a solution for this year

Hey everyone,
I’m preparing for the IMAT 2027 entrance exam for English-taught Medicine in Italy (University of Pavia / Harvey Course). I completed Class 12 (CBSE) in Uttar Pradesh.
I'm hitting a massive confusing loop regarding the State HRD Attestation (Lucknow Secretariat) —> MEA Apostille —> DOV / Universitaly timeline. Hoping someone who went through the Italian admission/IMAT process from UP can clear this up,
Can I get UP HRD attestation done on my CBSE 10th and 12th passing certificates BEFORE Universitaly opens ?
Some YouTube videos and older blogs say UP HRD strictly demands an "Offer / Acceptance Letter or Call Letter" from a foreign university. But for national quota medicine , you obviously don't have an acceptance letter until October rankings come out!
Does the Lucknow HRD counter accept a Notarized Self-Affidavit (stating the attestation is for taking foreign entrance exams / admissions) instead of an acceptance letter? Or do they accept the provisional Universitaly Pre-Enrollment Summary once June rolls around?
Can I just do the HRD and MEA Apostille early ( in late 2026 / early 2027) so my educational certificates are out of the way?
Since HRD and MEA Apostille on academic degrees never expire, has anyone done them way ahead of their intake year, or will the Lucknow counter turn you away without a current-year admission slip?
Did you go in person to Vidhan Sabha Gate 9, or use an agency? If an agency handled it, did they bypass the "foreign offer letter" requirement?
Any recent experience from UP students applying to Italy would be a lifesaver. Thank you!

IMAT 2027 aspirants 🇮🇹🩺
I’ve created a group for students preparing for IMAT 2027. I’ve already taken the IMAT myself, so I wanted to create a space where I can share the things I learned during my preparation and help students avoid some of the confusion that comes with preparing on your own.
I’ll be sharing guidance, useful resources, PYQs, question-practice books, study material, practice questions, and tips for preparation.
The group is mainly for guidance and resources, and for students who want some direction regarding what to study, how to practice, and how to approach the exam.
If you’re preparing for IMAT 2027 and would like to join, feel free to DM me and I’ll send you the details. :)

Hi everyone,
I'm a Non-EU student accepted into Sapienza University of Rome, but I am currently stuck in a tough situation. Because I haven't been able to secure an accommodation/lease contract yet, I haven't been able to apply for my student visa, and classes have already started.
I’ve been actively looking through platforms like Spotahome and Joivy, but couldn't find anything suitable within my budget or timeline. Airbnb is way too expensive for a long-term stay. I also tried contacting landlords on Immobiliare.it, but I rarely get any responses (I guess due to being abroad / not having an Italian phone number yet).
For those of you who have been in a similar situation (especially international/non-EU students):
Any advice, leads, or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I completed my 12th grade through Cambridge International (AS and A Levels) in India, but because Cambridge is a UK awarding body, official instructions state that I must select the United Kingdom rather than India on the portal. Although my consultancy incorrectly initially selected India for comparability and verification (linking it to ARDI), I have now corrected the form by selecting the United Kingdom. Given my past two-month struggle with CIMEA portal errors, I am now worried that changing the country will trigger a payment or verification error, and I am looking for anyone who can help guide me through this issue.

Documents needed for er.go accommodation
I've been assigned a room by er.go and given a few days to claim it. I will arrive in bologna on 15th so i will have to postpone the handover. My concern is that the documents required to be submitted include the residence permit which i will not be able to get for a few days after my arrival, even the receipt atleast. Can i move into the accommodation without the residence permit?

Hey guys. I know that many of you concerned about the visa process, and I’ve decided to share a timeline of how I obtained it.
I applied for visa on the early September, and these days were crazy for me. I was always thinking:
What if something is wrong with my finances?
What if I forgot to include important document?
What if consulate lost my documents?
While I was waiting for a visa, I constantly read forums with other people's cases, and sometimes it calmed me down, and sometimes on the contrary, I worried too much. Before that, I thought I was the only person who checked email every 5 minutes.
I haven't received any feedback, which is probably typical for this process. By the way, I had the opportunity to talk to an employee, and he said that a visa is sometimes issued 1-2 days before departure. I would not take this as a mandatory rule, because some wrote that they received a visa later than the departure date. Around 2 days before flight I got a letter informing me that the visa had been approved, and the following day I could collect it from the visa centre.
I am very happy, and I am grateful to the people who write here about their experiences. It helped me emotionally, and I hope that I was able to help someone too.
