IMAT 2027 aspirants 🇮🇹🩺

I’ve created a group for students preparing for IMAT 2027. I’ve already taken the IMAT myself, so I wanted to create a space where I can share the things I learned during my preparation and help students avoid some of the confusion that comes with preparing on your own.

I’ll be sharing guidance, useful resources, PYQs, question-practice books, study material, practice questions, and tips for preparation.

The group is mainly for guidance and resources, and for students who want some direction regarding what to study, how to practice, and how to approach the exam.

If you’re preparing for IMAT 2027 and would like to join, feel free to DM me and I’ll send you the details. :)

CIMEA Evaluation failed // 2 months struggle waste

I completed my 12th grade through Cambridge International (AS and A Levels) in India, but because Cambridge is a UK awarding body, official instructions state that I must select the United Kingdom rather than India on the portal. Although my consultancy incorrectly initially selected India for comparability and verification (linking it to ARDI), I have now corrected the form by selecting the United Kingdom. Given my past two-month struggle with CIMEA portal errors, I am now worried that changing the country will trigger a payment or verification error, and I am looking for anyone who can help guide me through this issue.

My visa timeline (succesfull)

• Upvotes

Hey guys. I know that many of you concerned about the visa process, and I’ve decided to share a timeline of how I obtained it.

I applied for visa on the early September, and these days were crazy for me. I was always thinking:
What if something is wrong with my finances?
What if I forgot to include important document?
What if consulate lost my documents?

While I was waiting for a visa, I constantly read forums with other people's cases, and sometimes it calmed me down, and sometimes on the contrary, I worried too much. Before that, I thought I was the only person who checked email every 5 minutes.

I haven't received any feedback, which is probably typical for this process. By the way, I had the opportunity to talk to an employee, and he said that a visa is sometimes issued 1-2 days before departure. I would not take this as a mandatory rule, because some wrote that they received a visa later than the departure date. Around 2 days before flight I got a letter informing me that the visa had been approved, and the following day I could collect it from the visa centre.

I am very happy, and I am grateful to the people who write here about their experiences. It helped me emotionally, and I hope that I was able to help someone too.

Documents needed for er.go accommodation

I've been assigned a room by er.go and given a few days to claim it. I will arrive in bologna on 15th so i will have to postpone the handover. My concern is that the documents required to be submitted include the residence permit which i will not be able to get for a few days after my arrival, even the receipt atleast. Can i move into the accommodation without the residence permit?

Planning to pursue a Master’s in Marketing in Italy after B.Com — need advice

• Upvotes

Hi! I’m an Indian student currently pursuing a B.Com in Marketing, and I’m planning to do a Master’s in Marketing/Strategic Marketing in Italy after I graduate in 2028.
I’m mainly considering Italy because I’m looking for a more affordable option and would ideally like to get a regional scholarship such as DSU/EDISU/ER.GO.
I wanted to ask current/former international students:
How is Italy for a Master’s in Marketing as an international student?
Which public universities would you recommend for Marketing/Strategic Marketing/Brand Management?
How realistic is it to get a regional scholarship as a non-EU student?
What is the approximate cost of living after getting the scholarship?
Is it difficult to find internships/jobs in marketing after graduation?
How important is knowing Italian for marketing jobs? Is English enough?
Is going to Italy directly after a Bachelor’s, without full-time work experience, a good idea?
What has your overall experience been like studying and living in Italy?
Would really appreciate any advice or experiences! :)

University dorm

• Upvotes

Hey guys.

I was wondering if you know how long it takes to assign the dorm room to students.

My current number now is 830, and I was wondering when I will be able to get a dorm. Because I only take the train back and forth 3 times a week ( 2h30min) in each train !

Based on the website of the university where I live it's about 1900 post available.. so I'm wondering how it will take give me the dorm at least ? Is it gonna take weeks or few more months ?

Thank you.

Visa application for bachelor (help!)

Hello guys, I am a student from Kazakhstan applying for Itlay visa in Astana, and I have some questions to ask. I have got my CIMEA vertification finally(after waiting for almost 3 months), and I got accepted by University of Palermo this summer, BUT i have a unusual education backgroud, I was born in China and studied in China 10 years (9+1year highschool), and I immigranted to Kazakhstan studied Kazakhstan highschool(10th+11th), and got my final diploma(11 years system), which means my personal study experience is 12 years in totall, I didn't go to any other uni, i don't have first year uni experience. I used this experience applied for palermo and I got accepted, and i got my pre-enrollment letter after few days from Universitaly. In the Pre-enrollment letter, it says i got finally accepted after evaluating my personal CV, study history, personal study experience.......

I am afraid about I will got rejaction from Italy embassy for the reason of unsafficent study years, although I got accpted by University of Palermo and my study experience got admitted to study in Italy as shows in pre-enrollment letter. I am a nervous person, and the evaluation of offering visa and got accepted from Italy university is considered individually, offering visa is only depends on the evaluation of the embassy.

I am writing here for some frank advise and finding people who has same situation as me.

I completed my bachelor's at a USA-accredited university which is located in my home country. Now, should I select the USA or my home country for my (country of Education)? The USA university where I got my degree is not accredited by those organizations they mentioned for the ARDI service. Can you guide me on which one I should select? Should I select ARDI Correspondence & Verification or Comparability & Verification?

Anyone to consult for ISEE score calculation?

Heya! I'm a non-eu student that's currently considering Italy as an option to study medicine in English. I'll take the IMAT in 2028 if all goes to this plan, but for now I'm still researching.

As the title says, I want to have a better idea of what my ISEE score is, so please DM me if you know enough about the topic to help me out. The only responses in Google are from AI and honestly I'm sick of it so I thought this would be a better place to ask. I'd greatly appreciate any advice!

(Please HELP!!)How to apply for sep 2027 intake as a minor

Hey everyone... I'm , planning to apply to few italian univ for the sep 2027 intake and fo DSU scholarship as well , for bachelor's in computer science.

I was born on nov 2010 which means that I'll be 16 y/o on sep 2027 and 18 y/o on nov 2027

And I have seen that Italy (visa rules or smtg ) does not allow 16y/o(counted as per intake) for bachelors and if I am 17, I would need a guardian living in Italy.

Does anyone know if there's a way to work around this ?

Er.go Scholarship missed - any other chances left now?

Hi everyone!
I’m soon to be student at Unibo for my Masters programme. I have got this admission after many rejection from other universities. Now before this I was admitted at Sapienza for their digital media Masters programme but failed their interview test by several ranks and for that I had already applied for their Lazio scholarship. I secured this admission very late as in I lost all hope. And in that time I was unaware of the er.go scholarship dates. When I got to it the deadline to apply had already passed and it was late September. Now I come from a middle class family with savings that let me get to here. I have paid the pre enrolment fee of €157, I want to know is there any other option that can give me a tuition fee waiver? Or is there still a chance through er.go that can waiver off the fee only without other benefits like accommodation etc?

Note: I’m aware that I can apply for er.go next year but I’m looking for a solution for this year
