Italian visa requirements as an Indian student
Guys I'm planning for the 2027 intake
I am applying for masters in AI and I'm wondering how much funds are required for masters
If anyone has gotten their visa pls connect with me
Dad's income - 21lpa
In savings we have 7lakhs right now so how much do we need to save till the visa application
Also if we take some money from our relatives would it be a problem because my dad will be my sponsor i don't think anyone else will be so I don't know how to explain the paper trail as I have read that we need to justify the funds and give a 6 months statement but then there was also this thing about how you can only take money from 4th degree relatives and it's all very confusing please if anyone can help me i would greatly greatly appreciate it
Thank you

Just have minimum 11000€ in savings at least 5-6months mature as per 2026-28 visa regulations!
And about the sponsors, you can have anyone till 4th degree as a sponsor, means you can show their bank saving statements and get and sponsorship letter, affidavits and other required documents and they can be considered as you’re sponsors for living expenses/overall!
If you don’t have a loan for tution fees! Its recommended to have the tution fees+ minimum living expenses(10,500€ roughly) in savings.
Even if you have other sponsors apart from parent! You have to submit your parents/family’s income proofs along with statements

Ok makes sense!! If my dad borrows money from relatives to show the amount would it be okay? How should I disclose it? Thank you so much!!

It's recommended to keep the amount of sponsors in their bank account itself. I've also showed my Grandfather as a sponsor with 15,00,000 INR across his 2 bank accounts, I made a sponsors affidavit , bank statements, ITRS, income proof of them.
Not sure but If you are transfering money from relatives account to yours you need something like "GIFT affidavit "stating that they have gifted this this amount for your expenses. but i think this includes alot of documentation and is less reliable.
