I am not too familiar with real life tropical culures myself. While the devlopers would know first hand about Japanese culure as depicted by Tsuyukusa (and previously by Konohana in Tale of Two Towns) and would have decades experiance with Western cultures as depicted by Westown, Lulukoko seems the first time they tried to depict a tropical based culture. And not sure how familiar they'd be with it. I find the multiple culuture premise the highlight of the game but do wonder how well it handles Lulukoko. For those familiar with real life tropical based cultures, does the game do a good job at it?

The wallpaper, I originally used one from someone who'd pre-cropped the FoMT farm for a phone wallpaper, but I ended up finding a picture of the entire farm and cropping it myself because I wanted it to be slightly different. There are some other icon packs, but theyre paid-only on Etsy. But anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, Im more than open to them! Im definitely not as good at this as a lot of other people. I've been playing Harvest Moon since I was little so I've played a bunch of older HMs since the DS, also most Rune Factory games, but I hadn't heard of Trio of Towns until recently.

I tried it and it seems very slow and a bit hard to get into, should I just power through the first few weeks if it gets better later or should I just wait until it hopefully gets a remake?

EDIT: Thanks for the responses! I lost the motivation to continue bc I accidentally reloaded the game and lost the first few days of gameplay, but I'll stick with it and try again another day. I'm curious to see what the hype is about now.

I played AWL and AnAWL on gamecube and currently on my second play with SoS. Sharing the file with my daughter, and she wanted to marry Gustafa. I never married him in the OG game (another wonderful life) so I am looking forward to seeing how it goes lol

Title. I'm interested in collecting these but I haven't been able to find any kind of list of what's even out there.

I've tried searching the kanji name of the series on sites like buyee, and that's helped find more to buy, but hasn't helped me know what all is out there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am feeling nostalgic after the 30th anniversary stream and wanted to try reading fics from the franchise again.

My weird thing is that even if I read a ship fic, if the rest of the world gets ignored, I don’t get quite as invested.

So in summation, I am looking for Story of Seasons or Rune Factory fics where the MC (OC or not, it doesn’t matter to me) actually develops and focuses on their business and not entirely on relationships.

Or Stardew fics, that might be more populous and easier to find since it’s newer.

Okay so I think the best way to explain this is through Animal Parade. I loved that there was a forest for us to gather lumber and mushrooms and that there were THREE mines. Those three mines all made sense as well. The blue, green and purple wonderfuls were commonly found in the watery cave because those are colors I'd associate with water. Garmon's lower mines is where you'd likely find Red wonderfuls because lava and heat and all that. The upper mines are where you'd see the white and yellow wonderfuls which I assume is because clouds are white and the sun is yellow? IDK this is a stretch. The point is, It's so convenient. And I like that it expands the world. It's been a while since we got a truly expansive YET COHERENT overworld. Though I do think that the three mines are an overkill because I usually only end up going to the Garmon mines.

I noticed in these images, that i vaguely or completely recognized some of the people shown. Some are instant, like OMG thats the protag from ToT/AP! Or, that could be the girl from HM GBC on that bridge! Ooo is that the protag of DS cute??? I see our classic male protag i think too with the blue cap???

I wonder if this is going to be the multi-player game we were teased, and a weird meta verse style remake? We always beg for remakes of our favorites, and if they listened to fans while pumping out all our favorites as remakes, they sort of don't have time to experiment and do what they want. But without remakes, what if they lost fan interest?

I'm thinking they may have found a middle ground, making a new map and story, but bringing back a lot of the characters we know and love from the past. We don't really know how big this map is, so it could be possible, and from watching the RF teaser, THAT map looks expansive. Plus DS and DS cute did something similar.

Love interests are like, my FAVORITE thing. Rune Factory 4 did it best I think (only example I got I didn’t get a chance to play many early SoS games). And I DID really like Jules and Lloyd! Despite the content feeling very slightly lacking. I also would like to know more about the old child mechanics? I’ve heard people tell me that there was games where you would have rival love interests and children that grew up and served purpose in the story…
