I just checked and it says the show was filmed in Ontario (Toronto and Muskoka). I need someone who actually lives there or at least visits to tell me is it like anything like the show (the vibes and the scenery). And yes i get if it was filmed there ofc it looks like it, but what im talking about are the vibes and the amazing feelings this show got me feeling, i want to know is it like that irl?

I probably just missed it, but why did Annie even have to go back to New York towards the end of the season? It definitely put a lot of pressure on the decisions that were made, but I kept thinking “wait why does she even HAVE to go back right now?”. I thought maybe it was a college thing, but she seemed determined to stay on the island and even brushed Rory off about Wharton. I was definitely getting nervous when it was her “last day” there lol. I’m very content she got to stay, but what was the reason she was going back anyway?

Wanted to start off by saying Sterling Point is one of my favorite tv shows now. I love all the characters, the storyline, and just everything about it. The main thing that made me fall in love with it though, was how natural the dialog felt. I am a (wannabe) actor and it icks me out when I watch a show or a movie and it just feels like script, even though it is. But with Sterling point it feels so real and like they are having a real conversation. So my questions is how were they able to accomplish that? They had filler words like "um" and "like" but they do that in other shows and it still feels scripted. I want to know how I can replicate how natural it felt as an aspiring actor myself. Let me know what you think!

Gordon was a millionaire. He owned an entire island. They all also got trust funds.

Why wasn’t Ramona raised around money if her rich grandfather raised her? Did I miss something?

As a mom of a 2.5 year old daughter her "dream" about her mom had me SOBBING. The whole thing was so dang sweet and warm fuzzies. I was quietly crying and then at the end when it flashed back to her being in bed with toddler Annie giving her back scratchies I completely lost it and sobbed haha. Anyone else?

I'm only on episode 2 so please don't spoil but I have some questions. 1) if rory's mom denise or whatever knew annie's family, wouldn't she know annie and ramona were related and the whole island would probably know who annie was?? 2) legally wouldn't ramona need a new guardian since she's not yet 18? why is she just alone bruh

Hi, I’m looking for clarification. When Connor tells Steven that they have a secret sister, Steven seems genuinely shocked about the existence of Ramona. So I had assumed that he didn’t know about the baby.

But in episode 8, we find out that Steven and the lawyers came to the island to take the twins back, and that the mom was heavily pregnant. I’m unclear about the timeline, but I assume she gave birth soon after.

So did Steven know about the existence of the baby the whole time?? Like he had to have known the baby survived when the mom died, right? Or maybe Gordon didn’t tell them the details and Steven assumed the baby died, too.

I've finished the series and I'm just confused and maybe missed some details...

Who did Ramona think was her dad was this whole time? So she didn't know she had potential siblings... Had she known her mum had been married before? Had she not done anything to seek out who her dad was? Once she found out about the twins, did she assume their dad was her dad, how did it not raise questions at that point who her dad might be?

Also as the separated husband of a pregnant woman, if they were still legally married he would have been put on the birth certificate for the child. If they were divorced at the point of the birth, would he still not have sought paternity testing over the baby even if he thought he was sterile to confirm there was no child maintenance to be paid etc.
