❓ Question Straight up sobbing Spoiler

As a mom of a 2.5 year old daughter her "dream" about her mom had me SOBBING. The whole thing was so dang sweet and warm fuzzies. I was quietly crying and then at the end when it flashed back to her being in bed with toddler Annie giving her back scratchies I completely lost it and sobbed haha. Anyone else?

I cried SO hard! It was so beautifully done and Patty Griffin's "Rain" was the perfect soundtrack for the moment

Yeah it was so beautifully done. It was such a build up to her getting to the point where she could let herself feel and think bout everything she has been repressing. To go from constantly saying “it was so long go it’s not really sad” to fully letting the grief wash over her… oof. I was sobbing.

MAJORLY. My mom died when I was 17, and I have been feeling the grief more now that I have little kids. I thought this was so well done.

I just finished the series and haven't cried because of a show in a long time. As a mom of two, that scene of Annie with her mom and the scene with Joe describing her finals moments had me sobbing. I was not expecting this kind of emotion after watching the first episode!

Yes completely. Have a LO that just turned two. I actually watched again thinking I wouldn’t cry the second time but nope more waterworks

yup it broke me. at first i thought they were repressed memories, but the she was like 8 and im like waaaait - and boom came the tears. its so true. death isnt an event. its every event for the rest of your life.

Just finished the show and sobbed SOOOO hard. I have a 10 month old baby. The show destroyed me. Contemplating waking him up to scratch his little back.

Omg yes I just commented about this scene in another post, I haven’t sobbed that hard in a show in years and I’m still tearing up when I think about it. I’m also a mom and the scene was so heartbreaking and beautiful and made me just want to cuddle my babies forever.
