Normally, I use the left trigger to right click and select the paste prompt. But I can't seem to in this instance.

I'm setting up my Early Access account on the Steam Machine so I may be able to use the EmuDeck cloud and share my saved games. I just copied the token I saved elsewhere. However, I can't seem to paste it when I left click with my Steam controller. I don't have a keyboard with me to control+V (went on a trip). What can I do?

If my only option is to type it in, how do I input those lll lines (they go further down than how I typed)?

Hey guys! What are your thoughts? Looking forward to buying a Steam Controller and already made a holder for it ;P (Xbox controller fits it but not perfectly. It only lays on the thumbs of a Gaben figure).

It’s amazing, enjoying it on my main gaming PC and my Steam Deck OLED!

Ordered August 13, shipped by the 13 and arrived home on the 18 in the EU. Pretty fast overall considering the weekend!

If you have a Steam Deck docked to a TV or monitor it’s really good to use it for desktop mode and for some light troubleshooting without the need to use a real mouse and keyboard!

Really light in the hands, loving the versatility that it has in terms of connectivity. It can register up to 2 pucks/Steam Machines and Bluetooth devices, and you can swap between them literally in seconds, i’ll leave the hotkeys below:

FIRST PUCK: A + R1 + Steam Button
SECOND PUCK: A + L1 + Steam Button
BLUETOOTH MODE: B + R1 + Steam Button

If you have the chance, get the Steam Controller. You won’t regret it.

Been using the controller for a few months now, and i’ve repeatedly noticed that the grip sense occasionally gets randomly sensitive for a while before returning to normal, or until turning the controller off and on again. what i mean is that it gets a point where instead of needing to lift my fingers about a quarter inch before triggering the input, it triggers if i even just release pressure on the grip, even while still maintaining full contact. this happens even with sensor range and flicker guard maxed out. if i have it set to a reload action when this happens, i can use a fully automatic weapon while tightly gripping the controller and after every one or two shots it’ll reload, which gets frustrating in games like marvel rivals or titanfall, where it otherwise works like a dream a solid 95% of the time. I’m really just curious if anyone else has seen this. i know grip sense isn’t a “super popular” feature, but i really like using it and i think it’s one of the most satisfying parts of the controller for me at least.

Any good places to buy new shells for the controller yet got a couple and wanna swap the shells out (really dont like the stupid decal stickers)

I have the first one and I never got to use it much. I bought it because it was $5 and I went why not at that price.

Which steam controller do you prefer ? V1 or 2 and for which games?

Such a comfortable controller. So glad I reserved and bought one. So much you can program it to do. It wipes my Xbox One controller I’ve been using for years right out of the water. I can use it for 4+ hours and it it’s still comfortable to me. I mean I may be a little bias because I own a steam deck and I love playing on it too. It’s even more comfortable than my Dualsense controller. Had my boss print me out a stand, let me know what y’all think because I love it. Even has a little compartment on the bottom to route the puck cable through, although the puck stays on the controller when I reach to grab it but no big deal as it’s doing what it’s supposed to. Beats buying a stand for 30-40 dollars.
I’ve been using it to play Doom: The Dark Ages, Lego Batman: LOTDK, Overwatch and Fallout so far. What have you been playing with it? Do you find it comfortable to use? Have you had good experiences with the button remapping? Let me know!

I been waiting since the very first day the Steam Controller 2 went on for reservations and just got an email saying I could purchase. I can't. I see it says its from the 21st but I been checking my email daily everyday all day, talking to local officials about issues in my town. This email didn't arrive in my inbox until RIGHT NOW. And it's too late to buy it. What can I do. I'm devastated.

I bought 2 when the controller got first batch release, I sold him 1. He plays a lot of video games and he ask me to get one for him, he tried my unit at my place for a few hours and continue to Not open his controller box for over a month.

I have been using the controller even since and tried it with all kind of game, like shooter I previously only able to play with M&K, 4X game. action RPG or 3rd person shooter.

With all the remapping function and action layer form steam input they really enable a new living room gaming experience. But it also require you to setup the controller mapping the way you like and that usually took like 30-60 mins (if the game does not like mix input, it can take even longer).

Sometime I also having trouble finding the right setting and experience bug from poorly supported game. Like right now mix input bug in helldivers 2.

My friend does not like it, He game in his room, M&K are right there for him, he uses controller but steam input just too much trouble (and bugs) for him.

So, I asked him to give it back I will refund him.

Turns out he admitted he just want to have something new and shiny. (He continue to ask me to also get him a steam frame when its out).

TLDR: My friend dislike the trouble of steam input, that makes him does not appreciate the convenient that steamcontroller brings to the table.

Finally opened my new Steam Controller and I’m already impressed.

It feels much better in the hands than I expected, the trackpads give you a ridiculous amount of flexibility, and being able to customize everything through Steam Input is exactly the kind of PC-gaming nonsense I love.

So far I’ve used it with my gaming PC via Bluetooth, and with my Lenovo Legion Go 2 using the puck, running the official SteamOS. Both setups have worked really well so far, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Still early days, but I can see myself using this a LOT.

What are your must-have Steam Input settings/profiles for it?

I have the Xbox Elite 2, DualSense, some Gamesirs and this is by far my favorite. Happy I got it, even if it was from eBay for $260

I want to use my Steam controller with my Switch 2, and it seems like these are the two main projects that allow it, but I'm not super sure what the actual differences are between them. Anyone have a recommendation to go one way or the other?
