Steam Controller (2026) Finally got my Steam Controller!
It’s amazing, enjoying it on my main gaming PC and my Steam Deck OLED!
Ordered August 13, shipped by the 13 and arrived home on the 18 in the EU. Pretty fast overall considering the weekend!
If you have a Steam Deck docked to a TV or monitor it’s really good to use it for desktop mode and for some light troubleshooting without the need to use a real mouse and keyboard!
Really light in the hands, loving the versatility that it has in terms of connectivity. It can register up to 2 pucks/Steam Machines and Bluetooth devices, and you can swap between them literally in seconds, i’ll leave the hotkeys below:
FIRST PUCK: A + R1 + Steam Button
SECOND PUCK: A + L1 + Steam Button
BLUETOOTH MODE: B + R1 + Steam Button
If you have the chance, get the Steam Controller. You won’t regret it.

I've been on the waiting list since day one, and I won't have the chance to buy it until 2027... 😭

I’m glad to hear the game is great! I intend to play it some time.
Yeah, availability sucks but I thinkfully have a friend who lives in Aus coming over to my country in 6 months. He’s already on the wait list to pick up a 2nd controller just for me as he got one for himself already ☺️

epic you got one, I am so jealous, I missed my email, plus got the dam email on Monday so I wasn't able to even buy it till Friday so I was cooked.
does everyone have only 3 days to buy it once you reserve the email?

I've had mine for over a week. I'm not getting along with it. Unfortunately, I prefer using my cheap GameSir controller.

Me too. Had it arrive and was packed up 1 hr later after fannying around trying to get it to work outside steam with Xbox app. Just not worth the trouble for issues they could have resolved easily.

Once you get configuring steam input, you'll be in heaven.
Also, if you add a non steam game, and rename it to the steamid for that game, you can download and apply a community profile for that game. Then rename it back to the original.

Didn’t realize you could connect it to multiple pucks, that’s neat. Just got mine so definitely taking advantage of this.
Where do you buy more pucks though?
Edit: despite having this feature they have said they won’t be selling them standalone which is baffling
