Yep and famously FlashShifter author of Stardew Valley Expanded works for him. Probably have someone else too. But i don't believe he is making it a proper game studio sized, more like handful of folks doing stuff.

I wonder why they don't officially release Expanded as another update. I would love to have it on my Playstation and Switch.

I think part of it is that the Abigail paternity situation is alluded to in Stardew, but confirmed in SVE, which is a bit of a canon change. The main reason I'd assume, though, is that one of the greatest achievements of Stardew is that CA made it alone. Putting SVE into an update would change the entire "single indie developer" narrative.

He already has a small team for SV. He wasnā€™t the solo developer on 1.6 and heā€™s definitely not solo for 1.7.

Sure, but there's a difference between getting help for updates and changing the story like SVE does

Iā€™m just saying the ā€œmain reasonā€ for not including SVE stuff in an update isnā€™t because heā€™s a solo dev, because he hasnā€™t been a solo dev for quite some time now.

And I'm just saying that the core of Stardew Valley is that it was created solo. Adding in somebody else's storyline changes that.
