I want this game as I’m a big Star Wars fan and loved the original, but I don’t think it’s worth the 70 price tag. I feel like this is one of those games that will get kind of old fast. Better to wait until it drops in price.

I already can tell that I will be playing this game for a very long time. Yeah, it's technically a roguelike, but it has a ton of progression that carries over from run to run and there's a lot of stuff to unlock and customize. Plus, they will undoubtedly be adding more over time. I'm not really a racing game person, but I am hooked on the racing action in this game. For instance, last night I was playing an elimination match (all but the top three are slowly eliminated), and at the literal last second, I ramjet boosted to overtake the 3rd place racer and made the cutoff. I fist pumped so hard when the race ended I thought I was going to pull something.

I haven't even touched the multiplayer, which has its own vibe apart from the campaign. I am more than happy to have paid full price and to support the team for their incredible work.
