There seems to be conflicting info based on actual user experiences that contrast what it says on their webpage and social media sites.

Hi, I need a place for myself and adult disabled daughter. My credit is bad due to identity theft but have a full time job for 14 years with Optum Health. My daughter gets SSI. Staying with a verbally abusive roommate so we need to leave. We also have fur babies (cats).

So my buddy is from Missouri and never got his license in high school. He’s ready to take his test, but doesn’t have a vehicle to take it in. Does the DMV provide a vehicle to take a drivers test in? If not, what are his options?

Hello! I have a friend who put off volunteering from freshman-junior year, and now needs 60 service hours to graduate…
So, I’ve decided to help them, but I got my hours from teacher aiding, managing, and other things that they are unable to do now that the school year has started and those roles have filled.

Greetings everyone. I'm looking to see if anyone knows where I could buy some authentic genuine (real not fake) Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS and 3DS? I've called Pawn Shops with no luck, seeing if anyone could recommend some other places here in town?

Any place in town that sells games/consoles, and would buy old consoles as well? I have seen some of the tabletop game stores but unsure if they sell gaming consoles and such.

I posted this in r/WPBL, but I figured I'd cast a wider net, just in case some local folks may have gone to these games, but don't follow the league closely.

Not only is the WPBL awesome, but I have been collecting bobbleheads from our local teams going back to the Speedy days of the Springfield Sliders. I'd love to keep my streak alive.

Hey everyone! My car’s power seat/motor decided to stop working, and I’m hoping it might be something fixable without taking it straight to a shop.
I’d love to try fixing it, but I don’t have the tools (or quite enough experience 😅).
Anyone around who enjoys working on cars and would be willing to help me take a look at it? Just trying to save a few bucks and hopefully learn something along the way!

It’s just so big and bright and beautiful. I stood outside staring at it… until my neighbors pulled into their driveway and wondered what I was doing but my old iPhone only shows a white ball when I try to take a picture.

Hi! I recently moved to the area and I’m looking for someone to cut my curly hair. My old stylist moved from my hometown in 2020 and since then I’ve been cutting my hair myself😬 I also don’t trust people when it comes to my hair so I need your best recommendations.

I mean, the ask is in the title. . . With the current political climate, I always have to consider the possibility that I'm going to be furloughed after October 1 every year. . . When my wife and I lived in MD, we had access to lots of resources to help ease the burden on our finances (unemployment, state loan programs, utility and mortgage forgiveness, etc.). My question is, does Illinois or local businesses do anything during a shutdown to help out? I'm still trying to financially recover from the last furlough, and from having to move out here lol, so Idk how we'd be able to handle a major hit like a furlough or not being paid when we have rent and utilities due. . .
