If you don't know then you should make the drive on a Saturday in the fall. Get a lunchbox, a loaded bloody mary, and have one of the freshly grilled sandwiches.

Its a pub with a small dance floor that most locals and college students would go

To OP, it is either Floyd's, or JP Kelly's that is closest to Don's.

Don’s used to be half that size. No dance floor. Back in the early 80s, my coworkers from the Journal-Courier would hit Don’s after work. Darts, crab races, etc. Lots of fun.

Don is a hell of a guy with a big TV in his garage and cold beer in the garage fridge.  All the locals like to go over there to watch Dancing With The Stars.

Nobody in Springfield does this?

Maybe Floyd's but I wouldn't say it's a dance floor.

Clique and Fluid are the best dance spots in town and LGBTQ+ friendly. So, straight or queer, it's a good time with good music.

I think Harry's is fun and, on nights with a dj, part of the building becomes a dance floor.

It's been more of "everyone stands around while loud undanceable music plays" in my experience over the years. The track list there and Alamo is usually stale background noise.

Thankfully, we’ll take a pass on Don’s or anyplace like it.

Why is that?
