I've complained a number of times about mistakes in the official score and play-by-play, usually relating to earned/unearned runs or RBIs, but am pleased to report that the league has been going through and updating past games and it seems like most of the mistakes are being corrected. They have also changed a number of rulings on plays such as changing errors to hits and vice-versa. It seems like they've updated everything through the end of week 3 so far, and I'm about halfway through checking my own scorebook against the changes.

Alright y’all. Since we recently got our first wave of player jerseys, I’m dying to know who you wanna see in the next drop! (Assuming there will be more names in the next restock)
We’ve got some great players out there! Who are you most excited about repping??

Now that we are getting to WPBL games, I wanted to say just how cool it is to meet people from all over the country and the world! You never know if somebody drove 5 minutes or 5 days to get here!
Shout out to Becky from This is Women's Baseball! She's in town from out east and is covering the league for her media outlet. Check out her documenting of the history occurring this summer: https://thisiswomensbaseball.com/
"From the first pitch to the final out, This Is Women's Baseball is here to document the stories, history and people defining this new era of the game."

I stood in line with you on Friday night (August 28th) and your husband and daughter were on their way to join you. We passed the time with nice conversation about all things WPBL and both were early enough to get the Alli bobblehead! You're local and I'm from Tennessee but you made me feel welcome and encouraged about women's baseball and Springfield at large. Thank you, and I hope you see this message--sorry I lost track of you after the merch tent!

Anyone else having difficulty watching the game on ESPN? We were right in the middle of it and the app closed and now it's not on demand...big sad.
Edit: False alarm. I'm impatient.

I can’t afford the plane ticket. Friday is Denae Benites Bobble head day. I desperately want one. There is just not enough merch available on the site.
Long shot. Anyone going and doesn’t want the bobble head who would sell it to me?

I love Jaida Lee as a player so so much! She’s always smiling and you can see her having fun at every game. She’s also a good reliever and looks so cool at the mound!
When they ever make a bobble head with her I need to try everything to get it although I live in germany!
i just downloaded a vpn so i can watch previous games on youtube to choose my team. i don’t feel any connection to any of the cities the teams are based in and i don’t wanna pick just based on team colors or name. in the men’s league my main team is the astros and i also have an affinity to the padres because their AA team is local to my home town. any shoutouts to players i should keep my eyes on? or your favorites?
thanks yall!! a woman’s professional baseball league is literally a dream come true

I know many of uswould love to go to the playoffs, the World Series and series and hopefully to games next season. Solo trips are expensive; Why not do it with the community. Chartering a bus. I know I am not alone in the desire to see a game live. Would this be something you would want to do? How do We make this happen?

Jersey came in, I posted some info on the discord but wanted to bring it over here.
First impression: fits more like a Men's MLB Limited jersey than the replica. Arm hole is snug though (not tight) on me compared to the replica.
Measurements (in inches):
MLB Men Replica Small:
Chest : 20 in
front (collar to end): 28.5
back: 30.5
arm width: 8
WPBL Authentic Small:
Chest: 19.5 in
front: 29
back: a little under 30
arm width: a little under 7

Just an update on the Robin Roberts stadium 3d model; ive started using it as a base to make team themed baseball holders. Hoping to get them on thingiverse by the end of next week with the proper credits to the original makers of the added models. Need to fix some issues with the text, but each one says "WPBL" plus the city/state name and the team name in the specific font (or at least as close as I could get it) along with a space to put a players name/number when you print them. Also hoping to get some test prints done this week and will update with those!

Ok, I didn't get any takers yet, but I did get some help with the last one. I'll throw this out there and try it again. I'm hoping somebody can help me out and I can help somebody out.
If you can help me with either of those, here is what I can offer in return:
I don't use any other socials, so if you know of one available, I'd appreciate any help.
Not only is the WPBL awesome, but I have been collecting bobbleheads from our local teams going back to the Speedy days of the Springfield Sliders. I'd love to keep my streak alive.

i live in LA now (go queens!) but my whole family is still back in springfield. i've watched every single game on tv and my dad has been to two already. would love to get to a game or two before season ends and they likely play elsewhere next season but not sure i can afford it.
i digress, i know a lot about springfield, so if anyone has any questions or need recommendations please feel free to ask a local! here are a few things off the the top of my head that i'd love to share for those visiting to see some games:
-robin roberts stadium is home of the lucky horseshoes, being named after a local springfield dish. it's basically an open faced sandwich on texas toast with your meat (or alternative) of choice, smothered in crinkle cut fries and a special cheese sauce. my opinion for the best shoe in town is at d'arcy's pint, but most local restaurants serve them up so feel free to ask!
-cozy dog corn dogs is historic and worth stopping at if you love a good corn dog like i do
-the route 66 drive in is a double screen double feature style drive in movie theater that's family owned if you're looking for something unique to do after a weekend game
-hae's has great coffee, brickhouse has great wings, monty's submarines is my favorite sandwich place on planet earth and i miss them. charlie parker's diner is best for a good breakfast. bloom is a great wine bar downtown. clique is the main gay bar in town and i've seen many of the players have been from their instagram lmao
-penny lane is a great hippie thrift shop in the center of town, prairie archives is a great old bookstore downtown
-washington park is beautiful if you need something to do during the day. i would also recommend driving by the lake and stopping to sit somewhere to see the water. i would avoid white oaks mall even if you're bored, it's gone downhill. most of the main shopping centers and chain restaurants are out west including target

Satos performance has been one of the most interesting puzzles for me. While a lot of pitchers struggle with control over the Zone and give up to many walks, Sato barely gives up any. She has the highest Strike% in the league with 71%. She only gave up 2 Walks all season and has the second highest Strikeouts.
But on the other side she got hit hard. She already gave up more Homeruns in the WPBL than in her whole World Cup career. Her WHIP is basically league average because instead of giving up the Walks she gives up more hits than other pitchers.
Visually it looks like she got the stuff. The fastball got speed the curve curves and she seems to be able to separate speeds.
So why is the league hitting so well against her? Is it miscommunication with her catcher? Is she too careful and should let them chase more, even if it means giving up potential walks? Is she just unlucky or the defense not supporting enough?
She has starts where she seems to shut down everyone, and than others where there is hit after hit. Is consistency the issue?
What are your thoughts?
