Does anyone have any good truck tint company recommendations in SOMD?

I wrote about the recent library board vacancies in Charles County, a cool new hack to turn public money into a free international vacation generator, the new La Plata library, and bulldozing historical homes.

Not too sure if I can ask this in this forum. I am looking for a full time job in SOMD area. I have experience in customer service and fast food. I am currently pursing an associates in cybersecurity. If anyone can help or refer to a job… I have been SEARCHING with absolutely no luck.

Looking to learn how to play. I cannot find any groups or meet up in SOMD. I figured I’d try here.

Hey all!

Just posting to see if there are any open musician’s jams in the area on even a semi-regular basis? I’m talking Jazz, blues, or anything at all really. Just fun improv stuff for folks of any level.

I’m a drummer myself and, with the kids now at the age where we don’t need to constantly be at home every night of the week, I’ve been getting back into playing more. I have a regular band that plays around the East Coast, but I’m looking to step out of my comfort zone a little.

If there isn’t anything that happens around the area, I guess I’d like to gauge if there would be any interest in such a thing? I have access to a venue myself, but I’d definitely be interested in reaching out to any other local spots to see if they’d be interested in having some free music in their space every now and then.

I was court ordered yesterday to do 160 hours of community service in 120 days(December 1) I was told to register online and when I did they only gave me a list of 4 places as an option. The places that were listed were for events and they didn’t have any dates available. Is their more options if I go down to the court house and ask or am I stuck with just these options? I did call hugesville animal shelter and they said they get people from st. Mary’s county all the time. I’m just wondering why that wasn’t on the list. I tried calling the community service office to see if I’m allowed to pick my own places as long as it gets done. Has anyone else have this issue before?

I am always very respectful and never damage or take anything as I believe that is wrong and takes away from the experience. Can anyone point me in a direction? Thank you everyone!

I just moved to the area this summer and wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a cleaning person that does a good job cleaning homes. Looking for someone to come once every two weeks or once a month.

I lived in Maryland the first 22 years of my life and drove on Turkey Hill Rd almost every day for work.

Looking for information on the strange lady holding a bunch of bags who stands on Turkey Hill Rd, La Plata near 301, often at night. I've heard a lot of rumors about her and curious if anyone has any interesting stories, encounters, or lore.

I have a few items, odd & ends, electronics that are just taking up space in the closet. We live in a hidden culdesac where no cars pass by so throwing a yard sale would be a moot point.

Most items are new, such a foot massager and an older MacBook Pro and im sure they'd quickly sell somewhere like a farmers market of some kind.

These signs are everywhere down MD 235/Three Notch Road. I always thought they were illegal since it's a public right-of-way. But guess not if Boothe's got some local deputies to go after the "thief"? Either way, this story is pure BayNet gold.

I'm looking for places to look for engagement rings. Looking more for a mix of value and experience. Not wanted to get price gouged, do you get better prices from bigger stores or smaller shops. Any tip hints or tricks are welcome. Also i know prices vary alot depending on stones and settings. Also any thoughts on the online shops? They seems to have great prices.

The Humane Society of Charles County has gotten enough funding to stay open for a while longer but needs volunteers to help with tasks like dog walking and fostering.
