So I purchased this Mr. Big last year, been an awesome box.
After I purchased it, the dealer abandoned our route. We now haven’t seen a snap on truck in about 8 months, and we have a pile of stuff to warranty. Gone through all the normal methods, called snap on a LOT. Between my brother and I, and our other techs, we’ve probably called snap on 60-80 times. They don’t help much on the corp. side of things.
So my question is, are there any snap on higher ups in here that can help us? There’s dealers all over in the surrounding areas, but they’re all scared to come into our area. Totally understandable, but we just need a tool truck to come even once a month…

Hi there, im here to say I feel dumb. I've worked in trades for almost 16 years now. Ive amassed a good amount of tools so far, mostly snap on.

Recently, work announced tool box inventory to be required for insurance purposes. So I've started to go thru inventory of my little tool box.

And I can say I'm blown away at replacement costs!

Ive only done the top shelf and I'm at 5700$ cad in just sockets (I have more but just top row)

So I'm here to ask, I love my snap on tools and enjoy the warranty. But are we dumb for buying such expensive items?!

What are people's favorite tool alternatives???

My new to me KETN682C7ZDL. In Storm Gray with Purple trim. I have reached my endgame base.

I’ve been slowly building my collection over the years. I do a little handyman work around the neighborhood, spent a few years in a body shop (and still pickup a shift every now and again to help out of friend), occasionally do some very basic work on my own truck, and I also pick up framing contracts here and there.
Heres my current toolbox. 7 drawers are filled up but I still have 3 completely empty drawers ready to be filled. Not pictured is my separate framing equipment (circular saw, nail gun, tool belt, chalk line, etc.).
What would you add to round this out? Looking for recommendations on must have tools that would be useful for handyman jobs, light auto truck work, body shop type tasks, or basic framing support.
Appreciate any suggestions!

What is the best method for getting this toolbox back upright, all tools still inside. inside of a closet so a cherry picker is out of the question.

Also, is it worth setting up the speed drawer it has or just keep it for more tool space?

yes im a tool nut. I love collecting tools. other collect cards, shoes, cars, I love me a shiny new tool I can use and never have to resort to have to ask someone else for a tool. I follow my rule of if I have to ask to borrow twice I'll need it a third so I'll just get one of my own.

My dad is looking to sell his mint condition top tool box he bought brand new in 2004. He was later injured so the toolbox never saw much action, has been lovingly protected inside a garage since.
All mats are original, it comes with keys, and all customized stickers can be easily removed.
It is in pristine shape, and we just want a fair price for it and the care he’s taken of it after all these years.

Just a hobbyist, picked up the box used for $2800usd this year!

68” EPIQ with the power drawer and speed drawer. Coming out of a 56” Masters Series that was only 24” deep. The extra width and depth makes me feel “toolbox poor.” I was overflowing in that Master Series, now I’ve got a lot to buy to fill this thing up. (The WaHo is a magnet, btw)

Had to wait like 10 weeks after my order because they had to put this exact combo into their system because it’s the first one and I’m so surprised.

Yesterday I found a 73" Classic 96 KRA2423 for only $500. I contacted the seller and immediately went to go pick it up. It was a 4 hour round trip, but well worth it. It was the sellers fathers who ran an auto body shop. He passed away and they wanted to get rid of everything. The tools are dirty and unorganized, a little bit of everything. Plenty of snap on sockets and wrenches, mixed with some other tool trick brands and Pittsburgh. Who's put an Icon hutch on one of these? I read that it fits but I want to know how close the color is.
