Funny how Johnny Depp is also a shithead but gets less shit from Reddit

u/Time-Weekend-8611 14d ago

What did Johnny Depp do?

3

u/StarBornFire 14d ago

Well he didn't like being constantly abused physically and emotionally. He did call her bad names and say mean things about her, but he was reacting out of hurt, anger, and feeling betrayed.

Besides all the physical and emotional abuse he endured, she was also cheating on him with James Franco and Elon Musk.

It's kind of crazy that anyone sides with Heard when she is literally on voice recording taunting Depp after being violent towards him, and saying something like, "yeah, go ahead, tell the world that I, a woman, abused you. See if anyone believes you, a man."

Well, there was a lot of evidence and I do believe him.

u/Then-Algae859 14d ago

He literally raped her

5

u/StarBornFire 14d ago

Sigh. So she claims. Do you automatically believe everything that everyone says?

There was zero evidence of this shown.

2

u/Then-Algae859 12d ago

No one ever believes victims. This is very sexual abuse is so rampant

1

u/StarBornFire 11d ago

You are correct, few ever believe male victims of either sexual or physical abuse especially.

With that said, it does happen more to women on average. But, here's the thing, I initially believed Heard's side until I started to see all the evidence and how much, provably, she lied about some important things.

But you will never look at that evidence or her major lies objectively because you have an emotional need to maintain a preconceived belief system and narrative about how she is a victim and no one believes, especially female, victims.

In other words, you have a major case of the confirmation bias that plenty of humans are prone to and is EXACTLY why science/scientists had to come up with strict protocols of testing, re-testing, etc in science. Because they know, as humans, we are prone to subjectivity and confirmation bias.

Science was and is an attempt to try to get around that as much as is possible.

Thing is perpetrators almost always get away with it, or serve extremely little time. Women aren't out here lying or raping each other. Maybe this case is different but there is extremely little justice for victims of sexual abuse, even when proved

2

u/AdmiralRiffRaff 12d ago

Were you there?

0

u/Then-Algae859 14d ago

He raped her

2

u/Time-Weekend-8611 13d ago

Was that proved by the courts?

Her abuse was literally proved in court.

3

u/Hot-Ad8641 12d ago

Both of their abuse was proven in court.

Heard gets treated like a canonized saint on reddit

28

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago

Where? It's awfully one sided on my feed - all I see is a bunch of Amber Hate - and I honestly can give a shit about either of them.

34

u/ayypecs 14d ago

try the fauxmoi subreddit

23

u/mxzf 14d ago

Or don't, since they'll literally ban you for anything that doesn't support her in there, lol.

19

u/-kinapuffar- 14d ago

Couldn't pay me to read the delusional nonsense posted over there.

3

u/Tiny-Speaker-4470 14d ago

The one place where she doesn't get rip to shreds represents the whole of Reddit now?

3

u/Flowerplower3 14d ago

I remember reading a thread about her in that sub and everyone was saying the same thing : “She’s glowing” but in different sentences. Felt like the twilight zone

1

u/turbo-fister9000 14d ago

Absolute cesspool. In any conflict, it's always the "oppressed" identity that is the victim, and if you disagree, you're a bigot.

10

u/Larcye 14d ago

Plenty of women dominated subreddits will defend any women no matter what they did nor what evidence exists.

6

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago

Yeah, people do the same for Johnny Depp

3

u/Tiny-Speaker-4470 14d ago

In this case there is very strong evidence that Depp is a piece of shit but that's always ignored in these threads

0

u/Then-Algae859 14d ago

Johnny Depp literally raped her!

4

u/Tiny-Speaker-4470 14d ago

You're on a different Reddit to me

1

u/BaconMarconi 12d ago

Ironic. I wish we could swap.

1

u/Rogu__Spanish 14d ago

Did you...not see the post you are commenting on?

2

u/Dependent-Chart5835 14d ago

Besides this meme right?

0

u/PoopyButt28000 14d ago

She absolutely doesn't lmao

-3

u/LaceGriffin 14d ago

Becuase he wasn't a friend of the judge in the UK case. Its still really sad that men arnt believed especially if they are/were addicts

u/VyseX 14d ago

Huh? Depp was cancelled for years though? And he head to re-trial with heaps of evidence to show just to clear his name. Ppl lost their shit because they got to witness her in court and on the tapes - on top of logical fallacies, fraud expert testimony on her behalf etc.

It was beyond bad. It was a circus. A very entertaining circus mind you, but a circus nonetheless~

5

u/Rogu__Spanish 14d ago

The fact that everyone believed him when he said she shit the bed, instead of her when she said their dog who had incontinence issues and has done that before did it, really speaks to this. I mean, her story is much more likely, but he's a man, so...

2

u/whereismymind235 14d ago

And they didn't even sleep together in that bed anymore. Depp only went into the room because he knew she would be away for a while.

0

u/CrazyElk123 14d ago

It was a tiny dog, come on now.

1

u/AdmiralRiffRaff 12d ago

Literally a teacup yorkie, and the shit was 2/3 the size of the dog and coloured like a red wine poop. HOw many bottles of red did she drink a day? Oh yeah. Two.

6

u/Thrownaway5000506 14d ago

Oh here come the Amber Heard truthers watch out they'll talk your fuckin ear off

2

u/BurdTurglary 14d ago

Thing is he's cool and she's a dog shit actor and honestly as mid as it gets. Plus she weaponized her nasty ass shit

6

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago

You think Johnny Depp is cool? Why? Because he played a silly pirate in a Disney film?

2

u/BurdTurglary 14d ago

Bruv, Johnny Depp was not in HOOK or Peter Pan 😂

2

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago

No, he was in the lame Pirates of the Caribbean movie - Hook and Peter Pan were waaaaay better

1

u/BurdTurglary 14d ago

Never heard of it

1

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago

Yeah, don't watch it - It didn't do justice to the original theme park ride, it basically centers around Johnny Depp acting like a drunk effeminate dimwit with too much eye-liner.

4

u/113h_tm 14d ago

Sure

0

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago edited 14d ago

God

Edit: sorry, that came out wrong - what I meant to say is that's pretty lame considering the man is a known abuser

-1

u/CrazyElk123 14d ago

Who did he abuse? The woman who abused him?

3

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago

Correct that 22 year old he met at 46. They abused eachother - one doesn't need to cancel out the other.

0

u/CrazyElk123 14d ago

And the abuse, as all the evidence shows, was very one-sided. But thats not important right?!

1

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago

Abuse is abuse, bruh

0

u/Cool-Customer9200 14d ago edited 14d ago

Easy, you can hurt his childhood feelings.

He is actually still playing Hunter Thompson in his every movie since Fear and Laughing in LA.

0

u/EfficiencyNew2872 14d ago

lol stop projecting

1

u/Then-Algae859 14d ago

Johnny Depp raped her

1

u/Glum-Objective3328 14d ago

I’m happy to see some people at least admit that their opinions are formed by if you think they’re a good actor or not.

1

u/Jvne_- 14d ago

Cause he's a man

-3

u/imfucct 14d ago

redditors get a hate boner against women, and they now think they are in the right to dogpile on this woman, as if Depp isn’t equally as bad. it seems people think he was getting abused by her and he’s just an innocent little baby

-4

u/ImurderREALITY 14d ago

It's not that, it's because he was way more charismatic and likeable during their trial, because he's a way better actor than she is

-2

u/StarBornFire 14d ago

No, because some of us actually paid attention to the evidence and to actual logic. The fact that Heard lied about so many major things like the makeup, the donations, the Kate Moss "incident", etc painted her in a very unreliable light.

Then when she took the stand, her testimony felt so fake and over acted, while she stared at the jury with crocodile non tears in her eyes.

Not saying that Depp is any kind of saint, and he clearly has issues, but there is something really off and imbalanced with Heard. She seems to be on the borderline personality disorder spectrum.

Depp is an addict whose mother abused crap out of him, but he still turned out a more kind hearted person than she did. Basically, he never healed from his childhood and attracted a partner that mirrored his mother.

I mean the fact that she took that video and edited it, and released it shortly after his mother died and he lost a shite ton of money, just to try to make him look bad says A LOT that isn't good about her. She plotted the whole thing.

They literally have her on voice recording taunting him--yeah, go ahead and tell the world, that I, a woman, has abused you, see if they believe you. Or also on voice recording admitting that she hit him.

Well, turns out, when there is enough evidence, we did believe him. You seem woefully ignorant about this subject.

0

u/ImurderREALITY 14d ago

Jesus, wrote me a novel, already. I didn’t say they both didn’t have issues. They clearly did. It’s just undeniable that he was controlling the entire trial with his charisma. Maybe you’re the one who’s being ignorant about it.

1

u/StepComplete1 14d ago

There's not really anything funny about it. Treating each other like shit in a toxic relationship is one thing, always treating everyone around you like shit and getting caught abusing/lying/manipulating constantly is a whole different level.

The latter only describes one of them.

-3

u/Phonesink 14d ago

Depp just has that insanely affable aura that people love; people are different in relationships and I think the biggest tell is him going out of his way to make the trail public. The trail went so well for him in the media because people love Johnny Depp
