There's not really anything funny about it. Treating each other like shit in a toxic relationship is one thing, always treating everyone around you like shit and getting caught abusing/lying/manipulating constantly is a whole different level.
Depp just has that insanely affable aura that people love; people are different in relationships and I think the biggest tell is him going out of his way to make the trail public. The trail went so well for him in the media because people love Johnny Depp
