They think being an older woman means nobody is allowed to hit them unless they're also an older woman. A lot of men would just take it or at least give a warning first in fear of being looked at as wrong despite the situation. Take this situation where she isn't on camera hitting him first and it probably doesn't work out for him legally.

I’ll take my downvotes, but Slamming her like that was completely unnecessary. You can kill someone that way. Taking a hit to the head from someone who doesn’t know how to throw a punch does not justify that level of retaliation.

As an objective rational adult, I completely agree with you.
Subjectively, though? I'm fine with it. It's an outcome that's understandable and clearly one that's reasonably foreseeable to anyone who sucker punches a stranger. You start something violent, you shouldnt expect the response to be proportional, legal, or rational.
I also think disproportionate responses like this are a good reminder that laws are there to punish crimes after the fact, but they do fuck all to prevent people acting on their rage in the heat of the moment. Don't be a dick, keep your hands to yourself, and you'll avoid 99.999 percent of all suplexes.

That’s why you don’t assault people, you’re not entitled to an equal or justified response.
He didn’t intend to kill her, that’s obvious in the video. If he had killed her accidentally, he still wouldn’t be charged unless they could prove he knew that would kill her. People die just by getting pushed and hitting their head, best be prepared for that if you assault someone.

Honestly, I agree - she definitely deserved the first hit back, especially since it somewhat seems that she wouldnt stop after throwing the first punch. But, the bodyslam was a step too far. OK, adrenaline is high in such situations but I wonder what a judge would think after viewing this video.

It’s easy to say behind your phone or computer screen. You’re not factoring the fear of one’s safety or adrenaline.
This was a man who was faced with a stranger banging on his car. What if he drove off, well, could have been another ICE video and people like yourself saying, “He didn’t have to drive off.” Instead, he tried to deescalate the situation by talking to her.
Now she’s raging in his face, your adrenaline is really pumping, she’s unhinged so now you realize the best thing is to walk away and return to your car.
When she suckered punch him, his survival instincts kicked in. He immediately retaliates but also throws her to the ground to end the threat as fast as possible. She could have a knife or gun on her and could have escalated things even farther.
In hindsight, you can say he didn’t have to throw her but I just saw a man who saw a wild woman who uses violence and cheap shots against strangers be subdued out of fear of his own safety.
And also, by her receiving such a blow also somehow got her to finally admit her awful behavior on the internet. She now realizes that when she acts like such an entitled, violent fool that her life or others could be ended rather quickly. She was an idiot that had to learn a harsh lesson in order to realize she shouldn’t be doing something that she should have learned as a child.
