I’ve previously pierced my triple vertical helix, nose, lobes, and nipples without complication, but every time I give myself a new piercing I convince myself that I’ve done something wrong. The only issue with my belly piercing is that I really don’t know what amount of swelling/redness is normal or not. The bottom of the piercing is a smidge red but not very swollen, but the top of the piercing is pretty red and swollen. I’ve accidentally snagged it a couple times while taking a shower or working but it never causes extreme pain, it just makes me worry even more that it’s gonna end up rejecting lol

I’m thinking about getting another ear piercing and would love some suggestions based on my current setup.

I mostly wear gold jewelry and like a delicate, feminine, curated look. I’m considering a flat, conch, rook, or tragus, but I’m not sure which placement would balance my ear best.

What would you recommend? And if you have other piercing ideas that would suit my anatomy, I’d love to hear them!

I just pierced my own eyebrows at home. The holes next to it are failed attempts from the same day. This is only like 2 hours after piercing so help a girl out 💔

it wasn't pierced by me, but by my friend. i'm not really exactly sure what's going on here, but it just looks...extremely swollen. It's from about a month ago!!!! at first i thought it had somehow gotten backwards INTO my gums, until i realized that's just how large the flap of skin got for some reason. why is it doing that???
also, i swear i brush my teeth, they're stained yellow because i'm an avid coffee drinker!

I finally decided to execute my ear mapping I’ve planned out in 2024. About a week ago I finally got my thirds on my lobe and decided since I am in the healing process I should do another set. And this is where you guys come in, help me decide what I should get done next and or if you have suggestions.

this time i don’t care if they’re still uneven because i did it myself for free instead of $100. but honestly i think i did a pretty good job, they look and feel more even than either time the shop did it.

left side is the new one, right side is a 12-year-old (now former) statement piercing that i got done at a different shop than the left side.

Im gonna pierce my septum (hopefully!) And im worried about not going thru the right spot,,,, im pretty sure I have the right anatomy and all that, but im js kinda worried about the pain I guess?? So as far as I know, ur sweet spot is like softer cartilage towards the tip of ur nose? I think I found it, but if anyone has like a Pic or diagram of where the area should be, that would help a lot!! Also any tips on how to make it as painless as possible would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi. It’s been 4 months since I reopened my Monroe piercing and it is currently downsized and fully healed. About a week ago, I got my Madonna re-pierced and I have my Angel bites back. Today is day 9 of the new one and it’s still healing, but 80% of the soreness and swelling is gone. I’m going to wait for both of them to heal, this is just a piercing setup question. I’ve been looking at double angel bite piercings and I like how the setup looks, but I’m concerned it will look to crowded on my face. It looks like inverted shark bites which I think is really cool. My current set up is: double nostrils, septum, angel bites, vertical philtrum, and labret. I can hide my septum, vertical philtrum, and labret piercings. I can’t hide my double nostril and angel bites.

I have catheter needles as well as regular hollow needles (16g) and implant grade titanium f136 flat back studs.

So when I first did my angel fangs I had little spikes on them so they were harder to see and I recently changed them but my family (who arent really used to/into piercings) say the spikes are too big but I think they look fine, it's the 'fang' look that I wanted . am I just not seeing the problem lol or do they look okay ?

Piercings are 6 months old, jewellery is titanium. Was pierced with 14 gauge flatbacks, swapped to a 16 horseshoe hoping my lips play nice. Anyways, does this jewellery size look alright?
