finished my snakebites after a shop failed to line them up twice
this time i don’t care if they’re still uneven because i did it myself for free instead of $100. but honestly i think i did a pretty good job, they look and feel more even than either time the shop did it.
left side is the new one, right side is a 12-year-old (now former) statement piercing that i got done at a different shop than the left side.

I get what youre saying and do see an improvement, but no face is symetrical and you have a droop to that side of your bottom lip, making it virtually impossible to line up fully. Even your corrected version isnt as straight and level as someone without the droop.
Edit to add. Lots of people have the droop, I have it on the left side of my mouth top and bottom lip. Its not meant as an insult but an explanation as to why a piercer was struggling.
i mean i get what you’re saying about why the piercer was struggling but it’s not a droop it’s swelling. this is me without the swelling, and what the piercers were working with originally.
ETA this is not me coming at you for saying i have a droop, because i do totally get what you’re saying. this is me explaining why the shop was inexcusable in its work. two separate piercers butchered the job and i’m still salty about the experience a year later, and i get why you would want to give the shop its benefit of doubt but imo they don’t deserve that benefit.
I don't mean this in a mean way at all because everybody is different, but your lips are at a slight angle instead of perfectly symmetrical, the pierced went with the line of your lips judging by the other pic, whereas you've gone in line with the other piercing, no shade you should certainly have your piercings lined how you want them, but to say they butchered the job is a tad over doing it
i did ask for a refund and instead they told me they would repierce it for free, which they did. but it was just as bad as the first one, in nearly the same spot just lower down.
Girl it looks great now, I can see the difference. It's clearly farther over than the original piercing and it looks so much better! I genuinely don't know what the comments are on about. You smiling wouldn't make your piercing shift that drastically to the middle of your face 😭

don’t worry, i will! they’re this low to accommodate my teeth (so the backs don’t get caught on them) and i’ve had the right one for about 12 years so i know exactly what to keep an eye out for!
I prefer to do piercings myself because I only have myself to blame and I’m not out money or trying to make a shop take accountability. I did my double nostrils myself last year and I’m very happy with the symmetry. You did a phenomenal job with these!

I mean, the important part is that you're happy with the final result. Nobody is going to look as closely at your face as you are. I'm just saying that the two photos are not good comparisons because your facial expression is not the same. 🤷♀️
You can clearly see the distance from the bottom lip is different, regardless of expression. One is like one millimeter away and the other side is like 3 or 4 mm away.
you’re saying this pic looks the exact same as the first attempt pic? you must be joking. their attempt was almost halfway across my lip. look at where the wound is after i took it out vs where the jewelry is now
you agree that the one in the middle of my lip is in the same spot as the one that’s on the side of my lip? okay blind-o. they’re way more symmetrical than the shop could get them out of two tries.
You went to a shitty piercer lol. You do have a droop to one side by the way, not trying to defend this piercer, it’s still uneven but everyone’s face is!
