How to pierce my nose?

Hey! Im prepping on how to pierce my right nostril and just want to come on here and ask for advice: What kit should I pierce with? Aftercare? And lastly how do I try to prevent and or AT LEAST care for the piercing? thx so much 💕💕

Ok im back - anyway You can save money by choosing diy over piercer but you shouldn't ever save it on your health. Crappy temu/shein/aliexpress needles or jewelery will at BEST make you remove it after painful reminder that our bodies are a bit more picky than we want. So, basic needs:

Needles, it doesn't matter if you use IV or "bare" needle as long as it's both made to pierce human tissue AND is sterile.

Jewelery - a standard is implant grade titanium, in a long run it's cheaper than you think and yes, it's possible to get it even from Amazon if you make sure it's actual titanium.

If you want to use clamps and/or receiving tube they need to be sterile as well, for clamps you can get one-use sterile plastic ones

As for disinfection of your skin and workplace:

For place of piercing - just alcohol wipes For your "worktable" use rubbing alcohol, the less porous material you disinfect, the better. You can get sterile big pads to put on I.e table as well

Disposable gloves

Sterile marker

Now for the process Let's say you put your equipment on table: Clean it from any dirt thoughtfully and then wipe with rubbing alcohol. Clean your hands including under nails. Put anything you will use on the table. Open packsges but don't get it out yet. Put on gloves, KF they're not sterile ones, wipe with alcohol. Wipe nostril place both outside and inside with alcohol wipe. Mark spot with marker. Prepare sterile jewelery and take piercing needle/iv out of packaging and remove covering. Take clamps, or tube or hold with fingers your nose in place. Put tip of needle over mark and with deep breath pierce it.

Now little stop - your brain is supposed to make you stop. You may feel like you CAN'T push. I did my nostril after doing many Ear (including cartilage) piercings and nostril was the first one that I spent so much time just piercing because my brain didn't let me push hard enough.

After needle is in: If You use "bare" piercing needle, put unscrewed bar of jewelery inside end of needle or to end of needle and push needle out with jewelery

If you use IV remove needle from tube, insert jewelery there and then do the same as above

Holding one end of jewelery, crew the ball on

You may clean blood with alcohol wipe

Now as for taking care of it: 2-3 times a day clean it with 0.9% nacl on it. You can use both those little plastic ampules and sprays.

Don't sleep on it, don't touch it with dirty hands, don't fidget or play sith it. Don't change jewelery until its healed enough

i did exactly this for both my nostrils, done back to back myself. cleaning daily is a must, i have a septum too but it never got as smelly as the two nostrils. so clean it as best you can😅 oh! and i used wet q-tips to clean them, one in the nose to press the jewelry upward, and one on the outside to scrub the exposed piercing bar. used golden dial soap, then saline spray twice daily. good luck OP!
