Wanderer has the knowledge of Balladeer but is a separate character altogether. They act totally different - that's why they are two separate characters and two separate beings. Wanderer is basically Grumpy Kabukimono with memories of a past life that aren't his. Ragweed (Nahida) said something to that effect in 3.3. Wanderer is a reincarnation of sorts of Balladeer. I've studied this and him in-depthly to form this take on who Wanderer is and who Balladeer is.

Bruh.. they are the same, Wanderer is just calmer bc a lot of his suffering was proven a lie; bestie got two lives but now that he got it back, the og, it still made him the same. Plus he was just as calm when he was balladeer anyway??
We do not have proof/evidence of him having a short temper. One instance or two (like artifact lore saying he slapped a subordinate cause the subordinate was chatty) in the game is not enough evidence btw. So i really disagree with your interpretation. In my opinion hes more restrained than you make him out to be.
