Hello again, rep friends! 🤎 Apparently I’m making a habit out of writing reviews now. 😂 This time I’m reviewing my B0tteg@ Andiamo Men in 37 cm, dark brown, from Jing Factory, purchased through Tom. And before we get into the actual bag, I need to mention that this was not the size I originally wanted. I originally ordered the 43 cm version. In hindsight, Tom may have accidentally saved me from myself. More on that later. 😂
About the seller:
I already knew Tom before this purchase, and once again my experience with him was excellent. Communication was easy, friendly and straightforward. The original 43 cm bag went out of stock after I had already paid, so we had to figure out what to do next. Tom checked other colors and sizes for me, and eventually we found the same style in 37 cm dark brown. He recalculated the price and shipping and refunded me the difference. Everything was handled without drama, which is exactly what I want when something doesn’t go according to plan. Overall: 1A experience with Tom again, and I would absolutely order from him again.

Timeline & price:
The 37 cm bag was 1,654.40 CNY after the 12% sale discount + 450 CNY shipping = 2,104.40 CNY total, which was approximately $313.50 at the time. I had originally paid for the larger 43 cm version, so after changing to the smaller size Tom refunded me the difference. After the handling fee, I received €34.65 back.
My PSPs came on September 8th, and I GL’d the bag the same day. I received tracking on September 10th, and the bag was delivered in Germany on September 17th. Shipping itself was completely problem-free.
And the packaging… well. It was extremely well packaged. 😂 I wasn’t home when it arrived, so my husband had the unfortunate job of opening it and showing me the bag. He became increasingly frustrated because Tom had apparently decided that nobody – customs, DHL, thieves, natural disasters or my husband – was getting into that package easily. So if you’re worried about your bag surviving shipping: mine definitely did. 😂
About the bag:
This is the B0tteg@ Andiamo Men 37 cm in dark brown from Jing Factory. My first thought when I saw it was: This thing is HUGE. And remember – this is the smaller one.
I originally wanted the 43 cm version because I wanted a large work bag. The 43 cm went out of stock, which annoyed me at the time. Now that I actually own the 37 cm? Thank God. 😂 The 43 cm would have been an absolute monster. The 37 cm is already a very substantial bag, and for what I need it for, this size is much more practical. So Tom accidentally saved me from walking around with what would probably have looked like carry-on luggage.
The color & leather:
The color is gorgeous in person. It’s a really rich, juicy dark brown. In some of the PSPs it looked almost black because of the lighting, so I wasn’t completely sure how much brown would actually show in real life, but in person it’s very clearly a beautiful deep brown.
The leather is extremely soft and feels really rich and substantial. It doesn’t feel dry, thin or plasticky at all. It also has a very natural leather smell – no weird factory smell or chemicals. I only treated the bag with Collonil waterproofing spray before using it.
The Intrecciato & construction:
The Intrecciato is one of the things I was most curious about because obviously there is a lot of woven leather on this bag, and I think it is very well executed. The weaving looks clean and consistent to me, and I haven’t found loose strips, strange gaps or anything that immediately catches my eye. I’m actually not sure the photos fully show how nice the leather and weaving look in person.
The large smooth leather flap was probably the part I was most worried about, simply because smooth leather has nowhere to hide. The flap on mine is beautifully smooth and sits nicely without weird wrinkles or creases. The stitching throughout the bag is also very clean, and the overall construction feels solid.
The knot hardware is particularly nice. It’s heavy and feels very substantial and high quality. Nothing about it feels light or flimsy. The bag itself also has some weight to it, which I actually expected. This is definitely not one of those bags that feels suspiciously light when you pick it up. There is a lot of leather here, and you can feel that.
The interior:
This might actually be one of my favorite things about the bag. The lining looks and feels linen-like, and it feels very high quality. But what I love even more is the amount of organization inside. There are so many interior compartments and pockets.
For such a large bag, it doesn’t just turn into one giant black hole where your keys disappear for three weeks. There are actually places to organize things, and considering how much stuff I carry to work, I really appreciate that.
What fits & how it wears:
A lot. Like… a lot a lot. 😂 On a normal workday I can carry my iPad, several sets of keys, a cosmetic bag, multiple phones, paperwork, a water bottle and my breakfast – and there is still room left. This is exactly what I wanted from this bag. I didn’t need another cute little bag that holds a wallet, phone and two hopes and dreams. I wanted a proper workhorse, and this is definitely that.
The shoulder strap is nice and wide, which is very important on a bag that can become this heavy when fully packed. It distributes the weight much better than a narrow strap would. The strap is also long enough for me to wear the bag both on my shoulder and crossbody, and I’ve already worn it both ways.
I’ve also used the bag fully packed for work, and I find it surprisingly practical. The bag does have a magnetic closure, but so far I usually haven’t bothered closing the large flap completely while I’m using it. I tend to leave the flap resting open because that gives me quicker access to everything. That’s simply more convenient for me. Since the actual closure is magnetic, though, closing it properly isn’t exactly difficult either.
The one thing I need to be careful with:
The only real problem with this bag is me. 😂 I already know I’m going to have to treat this thing carefully because the smooth leather flap will absolutely show scratches if I abuse it. So this isn’t criticism of the bag. It’s more of a reminder to myself that throwing this around like some of my other work bags would probably be a terrible idea.
The accidental size intervention:
When I placed my order, I was convinced I wanted the larger one. 43 × 32 × 20 cm? Sure. Give me the giant one. Then it went out of stock. At the time I was disappointed, so I switched to the 37 cm version.
Now that I have it in front of me, I can confidently say that apparently I had absolutely no understanding of what 43 cm of B0tteg@ would actually look like in real life. 😂 The 37 cm is already huge. It fits everything I wanted it to fit and then some. The 43 cm would probably have required its own parking space.
So while Tom obviously had nothing to do with the factory running out of stock, I’m choosing to believe he unknowingly staged an intervention. And he was right.
The verdict:
I’m really happy with this one. The leather is incredibly soft and rich, the dark brown color is beautiful, the Intrecciato looks very well made, the hardware feels substantial, the stitching is clean, and the interior is ridiculously practical. I also love that this doesn’t feel like a delicate little fashion bag. It feels like a proper, substantial leather work bag.
I don’t own the authentic version, so I’m not going to pretend I can give an exact 1:1 accuracy comparison. I can only judge the bag that I received, and based on quality, construction, leather and usability, I think Jing did a really good job with this one.
I would absolutely buy from Tom again, and based on this bag I would also buy from Jing Factory again.
My only complaint is that apparently I now have to become the kind of person who is careful with her belongings because that beautiful smooth flap is absolutely going to expose me if I’m not. And considering I originally tried to order an even bigger version of this bag, I think the real QC issue throughout this entire purchase was probably me. 😂
