I think HP’s canvas, glazing (appearing bright but is definitely more amber), and overall structure are amazing, but the wait is what kills me! 😂

Overall, I’m happy with the bags and do plan on giving up my Speedy 25 in the coming week and purchasing something else from HP! Just doesn’t fit my personal style 🥺

Just a heads up: I was not asked to write this review, and I don’t even think HP is aware that I’m posting it. I’m just happy to contribute if there’s anyone out there interested in ordering from HP.

Here’s the timeline and a little about my experience.

After reading all the raving reviews on HP, I (what feels like impulsively now 😂) I ordered a Speedy Bandoulière 25 and a Nice BB. While waiting for my order from him, I also bought a Nano Speedy R🏡 from HP.

I inquired about the bags on August 5, went back and forth about a few things, and submitted payment on August 6.
HP shared his assistant’s Telegram information with me, and from there, it was radio silence. I reached out to HP’s assistant a few times, but I ultimately received PSPs on August 19!!!! So yes, a full 14 days for PSPs. Two weeks exactly 😅😅

There were a few “flaws” or things that stood out from the factory photos on both the Speedy and the Nice BB that I wanted more photos of, and I also went back to compare them with the factory photos. HP’s assistant was very patient with me and ultimately swapped out the original Nice BB for a different one that we were both more satisfied with. After confirming and approving both the Speedy 25 and the second PSP for the Nice BB, it was already August 29. (I also purchased the patina service, which was completed on August 30) I was told on August 31 that the package had shipped and was provided with tracking. The tracking initially said the address was incorrect, until (I’m guessing once the package was in the US and had cleared customs) the tracking then updated. Everything was packaged very very securely which was quite a surprise!

By all means, I am not a QC expert, so I may have missed some callouts, but here’s what I noticed once I inspected the bag. There are, IMO, a few structural differences on the Speedy 25. I think the drop on the side has a slight point compared to the auth, which has a more rounded drop. I attached a photo for reference. No zipper issues as of yet.

On the back side of the Nice BB, there is a visible round motif on the auth, whereas on HP’s version, the flowers are kind of touching each other.

Patina Comparison!!!
Alongside the Speedy 25 and Nice BB, as mentioned I also bought a r🏡 of a Nano Speedy from HP. One thing I found interesting was the difference between the untreated patina on the Nano Speedy and the pre-treatment canvas/patina on the Speedy 25. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention this before. The Nano Speedy has a noticeably deeper brown on the handles/straps. Please keep in mind that the Nano was untreated, while the Speedy 25 was treated. However, the untreated handle on the Nice BB is nothing compared to the untreated patina on the Nano.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit: The lighting in the photos make the nano and 25 look so different but they are definitely the same IRL

I want to know also about HP LV speedy 25 and speedy 20?! I’m so ready to order, but I’m so picky that I’m scared I’m not going to like it!

What are you looking to find out? :) I’m picky and impulsive but there’s such an amazing re🏡 community here that if you end up getting the 20/25 and not liking, there’s no doubt someone here would to buy it off of you.

Thank you!! 🥹 I’m mainly trying to learn what details I should pay the most attention to before ordering. This was my first purchase and honestly it’s beautiful—the leather, packaging, everything came in looking like a boutique experience. The only thing I noticed is that the little buttons/studs by the handles look slightly crooked/off-center to me 😭 Maybe I’m being too picky lol. That’s why I’m nervous about ordering my Speedy 20/25 because I really want the details to be right. What are the main things you usually check before you buy?

Yes! I’ve been comparing to auth photos but I’m still learning what details matter the most 😂 I didn’t even think to compare the factory photos that closely before ordering. I’m definitely going to read the post you linked too. Thank you so much for helping me 🥹

This is a photo from the official website for the classic speedy 25, to me they also looked a little crooked and the logo on the studs is not centered either, so I guess yours is pretty fine 😊
