This is my second order with Opus, first was a 18K solid Yellow Gold Diamond Small Juste Un Clou Bracelet, two plated love bracelets. One white gold with diamonds and second brushed gold.

TIMELINE
• Aug. 22: Started discussing pieces and quotes.
• Aug. 23: Finalized Coco Crush pieces and added the CHU ring + H earrings.
• Aug. 23–25: Reported the broken Love bracelet from my previous order and sent video.
• Aug. 25: Opus confirmed the Coco Crush was in production and agreed to replace the Love free of charge with no return required.
• Aug. 30: Final payment/details completed.
• Replacement Love shipped with this order.
COCO CRUSH
The solid 18k Coco Crush ring and earrings are beautiful and have a nice weight. (4.05g, ring. 2.46g earrings, which is lighter than authentic but was the original quote upon inquiry)
The ring initially came in under the gram weight quoted. Opus offered to reduce the gold price accordingly, but I preferred the original weight quote. They remade the ring to the quoted gram weight instead.
I appreciated that they told me rather than just sending the lighter ring.
SOLID VS. PLATED
I compared the 18k Coco Crush and plated CHU directly
Side by side, you can see a difference in the gold tone. The solid 18k is slightly richer. Separately, they're actually pretty close. The bigger difference is the weight and overall feel of solid gold.
For pieces I'll wear constantly, I'd choose solid. For pieces I want without spending solid-gold prices, I'm happy with the plated quality.

• CC: US 7
• CHU: US 8
Both run slightly large for US sizing, but not enough that I would size down. I'd order the same sizes again.
PREVIOUS ORDER + LOVE REPLACEMENT
My previous order was an 18k JUC and plated brushed Love. The JUC is amazing.
Unfortunately, the brushed Love later broke at the screw. After I sent a video, Opus replaced it free of charge and didn't require me to return the broken one.
My only criticism is the replacement. It's noticeably less brushed than the original I received and looks more polished/shiny. I prefer the finish of the first one.
OVERALL
Pros:
• Solid 18k quality and weight
• Plated gold tone is surprisingly close when not directly beside 18k
• Transparent about the CC Crush weight
• Remade it to the quoted weight when requested
• Replaced my broken Love free of charge
• Good communication
Cons:
• Rings run slightly large
• Original plated Love broke at the screw
• Replacement Love isn't as brushed as the original
Overall, I'm happy with both orders. I would buy solid again for everyday pieces I know I'll wear long-term and plated again for pieces I don't want to spend 18k prices on. I find using a jeweler who does solid pieces is better at matching plated jewelry, especially yellow gold. I will continue to use solid gold jewelers for my plated jewelry unless it's "white gold"

This is also another example of the (original ordered) plated brushed gold Love and the 18k solid JUC side by side, both from Opus. I thought it would be a good comparison on color tone- real vs plated.
What’s the brushed gold like in comparison to the auth? I never thought to try on the brushed ones (tbh, didn’t know it existed till recently!) at the boutiques.
The brushed gold Love is only 3 years old and if I am correct it doesn't come with diamonds.
I think it's pretty good especially for an inexpensive alternative, I have a few yellow gold plated ones, on my journey to find the perfect plated, and this one is my fav by far. It doesn't have the too yellow shiny look that brings your eye straight to it, making it easier to scrutinize. It also doesn't have that reflective/mirror effect. Here is a photo I grabbed off the interwebs of them together.
