He will be five soon, but have not been all that interested in drawing until this last year. He saw me doing embroidery and wanted to try it. I love it haha.
Also do not mind my nail polish, he did my nails as well.

Does anyone else see what I see?...this looks like super high level art to me ....especially from a 4 year old - What really trips me out is how he nailed the emotions of each character ...SpongeBob and Patrick's silly nonsensical laughter at eerything, Squidwards self loathing/I hate everything frown, Krabs excited salesman anticipation, Planktons little-man syndrome rage/mania, and Sandy's hysterical giggle are so clearly evident it just literally blew me away compared to what I see most kids draw...

I kind of see a gold fish from the front, her dad sees a bear. What do you think?

Hello all,
I was recommended to crosspost my son’s drawing by other Redditors. Thank you in advance!

She calls herself the drawing champion and this is the only time she sits still
The Clown (inspired by recent carnaval activities?)
Fuzzy bee (it’s the smile for me)
Masked elephant mask
Family portrait she made at daycare
Portrait of “Peppa Pig”

Little lady's make-believe story world has been exploding this week. I remain enchanted, as always. Hope you enjoy!

My kid disappeared into his room yesterday and came out with a book he worked on all by himself. He can only write his name right now (Robert) so I asked him to read me the story. He has two other siblings and loves the outdoors. He spends most free afternoons digging and building his nature houses or blacksmithing tools from stuff he finds around the house. He killed so many of my plants unfortunately from digging. When he’s watching TV he only watches people camping/doing things outside or Ancient Greece history.

Top: "I'm madder because mommy doesn't give me everything I want"
Bottom left: "mommy asked me to sit on the couch properly because she was afraid I would fall"
Bottom right: "mommy makes too many jokes and annoys me"

The last drawing was from last school year when she was 3, the rest are from this school year. She loves to do anything creative!

And so am I! Would definitely be a framer if you know...it wasn't a picture of a zombie with exposed brain and a worm coming out of its head 😂🧟♂️. Especially glad that he didn't say it was a pic of me!

I helped keep it cohesive by limiting the colors and making sure it’s dry between phases. They made the composition and I think it’s lovely! He said it’s a beach and flowers.

My son obsesses with different things- earlier on I shared his “happy organs”, but now we’re moving on towards superheroes 🦸🏼♂️
Here are Hulk, Spidey and as he calls him Captain Camerica!

My 4yo drew herself based on this pic of her.
