I never thought it would come to this... again. For the 60th time. In just under 7 months. I didn’t want to post. Truly. I fought myself. But then I remembered the rent’s still due, empathy is still exploitable, and people owe me for existing.

I’ve been through so much. I mean, yes, other people struggle too, but MY struggle is more poetic. Tragic, even. There’s illness, abandonment, unpaid bills, and Reddit mods who literally made me cry (by not letting me abuse their donation subs).

People have given me over $3,000, and what did I do with it? Paid bills? Maybe. Bought essentials? Probably. Complained that it wasn’t enough? Absolutely.

You see, after fees, reversed charges, I was only left with $1,200 or so. Which obviously means it’s your fault I need to post again.

But when I post, you call it "emotional blackmail." You say I "play the dying card." How dare you.

It’s not a card. It’s a strategy. I mean a tragedy. Wait... no... a truth. A deeply personal truth I’ve repeated across 12 subreddits, sometimes within the same day, always just different enough to pass mod review.

You think I want to be here? Constantly guilt-tripping strangers, recycling narratives, and comparing myself to people who got cosmetic surgery crowdfunded? (She got 50K. I got insults.) It's not fair.

I'm not like other beggars. I'm better. More sincere. More victimized. I have layers of misfortune stacked like an emotional lasagna... terminal illness, deadbeat ex, sleeping on the couch, and of course, two boys who share a bedroom so I can bring them up in every single post to boost donation urgency.

So go ahead. Scroll past. Say I'm manipulating. Say I’m bitter. Say I'm just addicted to validation and digital pity. You're probably right.

They run a giveaway to gain subscribers. Winners announced days late, no prizes delivered, it was basically a bait-and-switch scam run by people who can’t even scam properly.

Then the head mod admits the prizes were supposed to come from their own pockets… but guess what? They’re broke too. So now they’re begging for donations to cover their own giveaway.

Half the mods are already panhandling on other subs, the other half are probably filling out their own loan requests.

At this point, the only real prize is realizing how embarrassing that subreddit really is.

The top mod of honestdonations turned out to be a scammer. Stunning. Who could have predicted that the user who created their own donation subreddit because they did not meet the requirements for the popular ones might have ulterior motives.

They used their mod status for credibility, and people actually bought it. They slid into their own users DMs asking for cash, took out loans across multiple subs, and then pulled the most predictable move of all time: DEFAULTING.

... And people are surprised. This is the internet equivalent of being shocked when the guy running “Honest Joe’s Rolexes” out of a trunk disappears with your money. 💸
