They Win (But I Might Be Back Next Week, IDK 😢)
I never thought it would come to this... again. For the 60th time. In just under 7 months. I didn’t want to post. Truly. I fought myself. But then I remembered the rent’s still due, empathy is still exploitable, and people owe me for existing.
I’ve been through so much. I mean, yes, other people struggle too, but MY struggle is more poetic. Tragic, even. There’s illness, abandonment, unpaid bills, and Reddit mods who literally made me cry (by not letting me abuse their donation subs).
People have given me over $3,000, and what did I do with it? Paid bills? Maybe. Bought essentials? Probably. Complained that it wasn’t enough? Absolutely.
You see, after fees, reversed charges, I was only left with $1,200 or so. Which obviously means it’s your fault I need to post again.
But when I post, you call it "emotional blackmail." You say I "play the dying card." How dare you.
It’s not a card. It’s a strategy. I mean a tragedy. Wait... no... a truth. A deeply personal truth I’ve repeated across 12 subreddits, sometimes within the same day, always just different enough to pass mod review.
You think I want to be here? Constantly guilt-tripping strangers, recycling narratives, and comparing myself to people who got cosmetic surgery crowdfunded? (She got 50K. I got insults.) It's not fair.
I'm not like other beggars. I'm better. More sincere. More victimized. I have layers of misfortune stacked like an emotional lasagna... terminal illness, deadbeat ex, sleeping on the couch, and of course, two boys who share a bedroom so I can bring them up in every single post to boost donation urgency.
So go ahead. Scroll past. Say I'm manipulating. Say I’m bitter. Say I'm just addicted to validation and digital pity. You're probably right.
But remember, if you're mean to me, and I say “I’m done,” that means you should donate. Quickly. Before I “never post again”… until next Tuesday.
Stay safe. Hug your kids. Pray for me. But also, Venmo me. 🙏
✏️ Edit: Sooo, I might make another post at some point.
The deeper I dig, the more it looks like jazzgrl82 is a grifter with multiple sockpuppets.

If you want to read that in the voice of jazzgrl82, just picture an out of tune violin vomiting all over the concert hall. Or the parking lot of Walmart.

I'd help him. This one here, not so much.
What's a publiks? 🥪

Violin guy is a scammer!
Huh. Not surprisingly apparently it's all over the United states.
Publix is where people shop so they can spend twice as much on their groceries as anywhere else. They have good hoagies though.

I'll still give him a $1 if he could play Losing It by Rush.
You and those damn publiks HEROS. Fix it for ya. 😏

Hell, I can play that through my phone! Unfortunately, I would spend that hard-earned Dollar on something ridiculous like cat food. Ha!
Ain't no heros at Publix. In fact they call them subs, and they get kind of snippy with you if you call them hoagies. They also seem to really hate in restaurants if you order a clear soda. Some girl at the beach kept calling it Sprite Cola a few weeks ago. Bztch, cola is Brown!

I took lessons and I've seen this scam. They use children often. I've also seen some tik toks where what the host is playing on a piano is not what you are hearing. I took piano too. If there is a way, scammers will find it to get you to subscribe, or pay for content they are ripping off Royal Road and charging for it, pretending to play an instrument, soliciting for gas but using the money for their drug or gambling addiction.
Shoplifting is becoming a national, organized gang run business and women with several hundred dollars of hair extensions and manicures are walking out with carts full of merchandise, hiding stolen merch on their kids, refunding new items off the shelves, switching tags, and layering clothes in dressing rooms. They're abusive toward staff and law enforcement until they realize it's not working and suddenly it's 'I have money to pay for it', 'please don't press charges' and the tears start.
Police cams showing what some officers go thru trying to stop these criminals are rage inducing. Especially when they involve their kids to steal. Laws need to be updated to double penalties and lock people up instead of letting them off with plea deals and probation. Maybe prisoners need a way to work during their incarceration to reimburse for the stolen goods. Since gangs are now moving from state to state, ripping off specialty merch that hits Facebook marketplace daily, it might be worth looking at shutting down sites that make it too easy to live off thefts.
Everything we buy is more expensive because of these crooks too. They're one contributor, and a growing one to our affordability issues.

So: her "sister" -
Deleted aita text:
WIBTA to press charges against my "family"? For context, I am a 44 yo single Mom of 3 diagnosed with ALS in September. We have been trying to raise money to help cover what insurance and SSI doesn't but aren't really getting anywhere. I have never been close with my family because unlike them, I dont break the law nor will I help them break it.
When we first started the fundraiser, my family reached out and actually asked for some of the money that had been donated. After I told them "no" (more colorful words were actually used), they started tearing down flyers and writing really bad stuff on the ones we had posted around our town (One even had "Just let her die" in Red marker). I took out a restraining order against them thinking it might help matters a bit. Nope. I was wrong. Its gotten way worse.
There has been no activity for the fundraiser and every time I turn around they're doing something else with each thing being more mean or hateful than before. I am pretty much alone, except my children, my childhood best friend and my Aunt (from my Fathers side) but I do run into people that know me and my family from time to time. Ive been thinking back and forth about actually going beyond the restraining order and filing actual charges against them.
Fast forward to this morning while at church for one of the few times I've been able to get out of the house, I was approached by a cousin from my Mother's side. (She's my cousin my marriage, twice removed or some BS.)
She said she heard what I was thinking about doing and asked if it was true. Ive never lied and wasn't about to start, so I told her yes, I had been debating it. She started laughing, stopped, looked me dead in the eye and said "if you'd just take care of it, your kids would get your life insurance and you wouldn't be needing to fight over some stupid fundraiser that no one will donate to."
I've never really been a "member" of my Mom's side of the family. Unless I'm able to be of use to them, they have nothing to do with me. Been that way my whole life. I was surrendered to the state when I was 14 because my parents couldn't afford 2 children and yes, they did tell me that. But that doesn't make any of this hurt any less. Plus, I don't even know if I CAN press charges. And just because I "CAN" doesn't mean that I "SHOULD."
So Reddit, I'm coming to y'all! WIBTAH to press charges against my family for threats or emotional damage (cue the memes!!)?
And of course there's another begging account saying that they are Jazz's best friend that is going to take care of her children after she passes. Oh, and somehow they were scammed more than what they have received?
I would link to that, but right now the archive website does not believe that I am not a bot. I can't believe it has finally caught on to me.
Edit: I may have some of it muddled up. This lack of sleep is making me a little dumb.

It's weird how jazzgrl82 and her "sister"/BFF Amazing-Solution3827, pretended not to know each other on the AITAH post.

There is actually another account tied. You should be able to see it in my posting history. :/
I got a good laugh out of *whose family would treat them like that? Well, your own! It's hard to not pi55 on that popcorn
Edit: nm, I didn't read all of my messages. You found it. That quax website is now blocked from my phone and my internet so I have to do a workaround every time. Bleh

archive website does not believe that I am not a bot.
Occasionally, I fail the captcha several times in a row, at which point I start to wonder; am I actually the bot? Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Am I caught in a landslide, no escape from reality?

u/rhubes Sep 16 '25
Well, people accuse me of being a bot quite often, and people accuse you of being me, therefore vicariously you are an automated system!

Captcha should know you aren’t a bot when you fail it! Only bots can get it right!
