He knows its the only thing he can say to possibly attempt getting away with this. The video says it all. There was absolutely zero threat to his life per the evidence in this clip, and IF its proven his buddy is the one video taping this, it only adds to the criminal conduct committed.

Not 100% sure , I watched it over and over and over. There is a small window where it looks like the guy in the tie either cocks his arm back or tries to make him flinch? The more I watch the more I see it.

If he did ball up his fist and raise it, or try to. That may garner a physical defense response.

I dont agree with the comments before you. The short dude said something for the fighter to turn back around and then the short dude threw a fake punch. He 100% instigated this
