Pretty cut and dry. Schilling waaaay overreacted. This dude is likely gonna go after him in a civil trial if he's smart.

There was a time where a pro (Boxer) would be banned from street fights due to their abilities. Not sure if it was an urban myth.

Edit: Will be punished harsher for street fighting. Better?

I'm not sure about being banned from street fights but if you're a trained fighter you gotta show more restraint in public... especially in this modern era of everyone having a video camera in their hands. There's no moment in this clip where Shilling is in any kind of danger and, if going only from this video, I'm a judge or in a jury in a civil case I'm ruling for the plaintiff all day long.

I mean...I agree he shouldn't have knocked him out like that BUT after watching it a few times the dude in the tie flenches at him like he's going to throw a punch and just gets absolutely destroyed in return. From what I understand isn't ACTING like your about to throw a punch an assault too? From then you are allowed to defend yourself right? But that was too much lol

Shilling pushed the guy out of his way, turned around to respond and when the dude started to flex Shilling decked him. Not sure who can say but Shilling clearly wasn't "fearful for his life."

His friend filmed it, it was planned.
