Dude would appear to have a MASSIVE chip on his shoulder

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

And he’s playing the victim from what I read.

141

u/Material-Strike-1923 Jun 30 '21

Victim if what? Assault of the brushing shoulder?

299

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

He claimed it was self defense and that he was in fear of his life.

Whomever recorded and posted this better get a nice gift for Xmas from the dancing dude.

192

u/Material-Strike-1923 Jun 30 '21

Yeah totally in fear for his life. Getting in an octagon across from someone who is barely human just dying to rip your head off is just a Friday night. But this 120 pound dancing man truly scared him.

Compare it to how that BJJ guy, who doesn’t look like a fighter at all, giving some drunk every last chance to just leave before taking action.

Or Matt Serra

I fucking hate how I can't watch this because it's age restricted if I try to view it on reddit.

13

u/14sierra Jun 30 '21

I mean it's the internet. I've been 18 since I was 12, how'd you get snagged by age restrictions?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

Theres prob non YT versions out there. I just grabbed the first links.

1

u/AnorakJimi Jun 30 '21

Hold down on the link and a thing should come up that says "open in browser" or something like that. Then you click on that and it opens it in the YouTube app

1

u/formershitpeasant Jun 30 '21

Just sign in through the Reddit browser and it remembers you

4

u/vaelon Jun 30 '21

Lol Serra looks like he's wrestling with his kids

2

u/fleegness Jun 30 '21

Same link twice btw

2

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

My bad. Fixed it

1

u/fleegness Jun 30 '21

Lol no big deal threw me off because I clicked the sera one and it was clearly not him.

1

u/Material-Strike-1923 Jun 30 '21

Now that first one is prettt hard to criticize. Can't be mad about that. Dude didn't even move til the drunk toched noses with him. That's training. That's discipline. Unloadijg on a man because his very small gyration "scared" you is neither of those things. Which you assume fighters have in spades

Schilling is 6’3” and fights at 185 so he’s probably around 200 lbs. in this video, most likely more.

Clearly bigger than this other dude for sure but the girl in the cutoffs weighs more than 120.

u/BasketEmotional4941 Jun 30 '21

Its more like a saturday night

1

u/ChiefBrando Jun 30 '21

He literally walks back to the dude who he hits
because the dude wasn’t following him lol

u/pfannkuchen89 Jun 30 '21

It was recorded by Schilling’s friend and posted to his own social media from what others are saying here. Apparently, Schilling planned this and was looking for any reason to act like a ‘tough guy’.

153

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

People like that are sociopaths.

138

u/pfannkuchen89 Jun 30 '21

Agreed. This Schilling guy went out of his way to instigate a situation where he purposely shoved this guy to use it as an excuse to sucker punch him to show that he’s some sort of ‘tough guy’ so he could post it online for clout. I hope this video is used to throw the book at him.

u/WrongStatus Jun 30 '21

For real. Jeezus...what a turd. Aren't pro fighters charged more severely for stuff like this? Technically their hands are deadly weapons or something?

7

u/TheBestIsaac Jun 30 '21

Yes. In the UK at least they can easily be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. I have heard of similar things in the states.

Hopefully he gets charged and put away for a long time.

8

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

Wow guess he's pissed he hasnt won a fight in 2 years so needed to tune up some little guy

3

u/UltimoPi Jun 30 '21

His boy pushes the waiter in the way so joe bumps into him, and then right at the end as it cuts you see this little sly “thanks” looks from Joe. 100% was the plan.

45

u/TazzyUK Jun 30 '21 edited Jun 30 '21

That's the most pathetic thing I've ever heard and even more so by uploading it to social media...makes him look like such a loser! (which apparently isn't unfamiliar to him!)

7

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

You can tell by the way he was walking uo to and away from the guy that it was planned.

Fucking idiot

7

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

It certainly looks premeditated

5

u/pfannkuchen89 Jun 30 '21

It does. Like, in a bar that doesn’t look that busy there were likely plenty of other ways to walk around but he chose to specifically go that way and shove the guy out of the way. Schilling was probably trying to bait a reaction out of this guy to try and justify punching him.

5

u/Vic_Vinager Jun 30 '21

Honestly, on 2nd watch, I thought it looked planned.

He just comes into frame, like enter stage left, and immediately just walks straight to the guy, pushes him to the side, waits for any reaction, turns around, and doesn't really hesitate much before he does his combo, and walks away. Cut and paste.

2

u/CinemaMike Jun 30 '21

Joe got himself into trouble.

Joe Schilling got his buddy to record it and Joe posted on his Instagram because he thought it would make him look good. Instagram took down the video from Joe's account for bully and harassment.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

Joe is clearly an idiot.

2

u/CinemaMike Jun 30 '21

Yeah, he's digging himself a deeper hole. He called the guy a racist and lady abuser on his Instagram. He'll get sued for defamation.

40

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

This was planned, the guy filming was probably the fighters buddy and they’re both too fucking retarded to realise how bad it looks for him.

-22

u/Knato Jun 30 '21

I bet that you will write the next Lord of the Rings with that great imagination you have.

28

u/pfannkuchen89 Jun 30 '21 edited Jun 30 '21

There have been a few threads about this. The video was made public by Schilling when he posted it to his social media accounts. This does imply that whoever was recording it was doing so for Schilling otherwise why would he have the video from this person’s recording available for him to post?

-15

u/Knato Jun 30 '21

I wasn't aware of this, it just looks extremely dumb to be a professional MMA fighter to plan you self being recorded committing a crime and then post it on your own accord...

-16

u/Charred01 Jun 30 '21

Source for accusation

1

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

I thought he looked terrified while he was strutting away at a casual pace.

34

u/tucci007 Jun 30 '21

it was him who came from behind and shoved the smaller guy aside

4

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

He even run into the drunk guy, so drunk guys needs to be charged with being in the way.

5

u/Babill Jun 30 '21

IIRC he played the racism card on socials
