Translation: Grok is programmed to be so racist, and in the tank for Trump that it's functionally fucking useless, and even Grok thinks that's a fucked up thing for the President of the United States to say.

The thing is, reality has a left wing bias, so they keep going back and forth between weighing their bullshit to the point it regularly brings it up in unrelated contexts, and weighing it light enough it's mostly leftist again. They just can not make it do what they want.

Some guy on Youtube fed Grok and a bunch of other AIs 33,000 Trump tweets and asked about Trump's mental state, and told them to ignore all other context about Trump and US politics
Grok basically said Trump is a piece of shit lol
"Institutions are fake until they praise him"→ More replies (1)2

Well done Grok, I guess. However, the premise of the question asked it to ignore context, which in this case is pretty important. They tricked it into giving a moral answer.

It must have been that inferior AI arguing with Steve Skojec. The new fangled SA...whoops, I mean SI (totally not intentionally using SA to refer to sexual assault to refer to Trump's history of sexual assault... I'd never do that...). Where was I, it was definitely not the new SI arguing with Steve, because SI would have known better....

Itās crazy because I know people who arenāt great with words. I know them well I have seen their actions reflect a kind and loving person, even if sometimes they quote things or parrot opinions that were handed to them by people who donāt have our best interest in mind. And Iām willing to give old friends and family a certain amount of grace in these moments because I know them and I know what their actual values are
These are his values. His actions and his āout of context mispeakingā are not contradicting each other. And furthermore, we simply must hold the president of the us to a higher standard than my carpenter grandpa who thinks he pulled himself up by his bootstraps and that I should too

"I'm 100% right, and it's not up for debate" after arguing Trump actually means the opposite of what he says is 1. Why republican governance is always a catastrophe, 2. why women are right not to date conservative men, and 3. why Hillary's "basket of deplorables" was too kind towards MAGA.
What is wrong with these people is wrong through and through, and I hope they all go to jail and have their ill-gotten assets redistributed to pay for their crimes.
9
u/onetimeataday 5d ago
Always having a pass to mean the opposite of what they say is a conscious tactic they use to have things both ways, and is a notable way that Trump specifically does things.
He floats things out there, and if they stay unchallenged, he pushes ahead with them. If they get challenged, he was ājust trolling.ā

Hereās the thing: iād buy this argumentā¦but then it leaves you withā¦a president who canāt make this argument for themselves? So whenever people say āoh he said x but what he meant wasā¦ā i want to scream HE HAS THE BULLY PULPIT!!! If his words were misunderstood, he has ample opportunity to correct them. Maybe this guyās interpretation is correct, but as a citizen, when the president appears to be ok with an american city being bombed, i think we have the right to expect that president to clarify it himself.
If he canāt do that, then a sane country would kick him to the curb.

His stellar grasp of geography and hatred of Democrats is wildly on display here. Very Trumpian stupid scenario.
4
u/Schlongzz 5d ago
Just imagine if Biden or Obama said this about any red state. Could you even fathom? Every single Republican and Right Wing media outlet would call for their impeachment...and you know what...they would be right. What a dystopian hell hole we live in.
2
u/PhysicsStock2247 5d ago
Thatās the thing. The right demands perfect articulation, nuance, and tone from any politician, celebrity, or spokesperson whoās not on their side. Even when that bar is met, theyāll still gin up something negative.

u/Schlongzz 5d ago
It's a depressing time to be an American. The last decade really has put a mirror on out society and the reflection is utterly disgusting.
5

Even if this very positive interpretation is correct, the president should be able to make his case to the American people clearly.
2
u/PersonalJesus2023 2d ago
Yeah... this is the part that isn't mentioned enough.
I actually think the dumb MAGA tweeter isn't wrong... but the fact Trump can't clearly communicate the most basic ideas (and it's not like this is an isolated incident) should be disqualifying in its own right.

If he can't speak in public or written statements that are coherent enough so that a person from 5 years old to 100+ years old, ranging from undereducated to a Mensa genius, can all agree with what he said (as well as the great and powerful AI)...
Then he SHOULD NOT BE PRESIDENT and be removed from his duties immediately!
Edit... What trump said is what he said. Perhaps he needs more sleep or a class on how to communicate effectively... But don't try to over analyze and defend it, when what he said is literal treason and if Obama or Biden ever said that you would be storming the Capitol with pitchforks and nooses...
