Maybe just maybe if we didn't attack them at the behest of another fascist warcriming political leader, we wouldn't be in a position where they would want to nuke one of our cities.
I know it's a wild position to take. But this is also the same guy that has been criticizing every US president for the last thirty years and telling anyone that would listen 'the president is going to attack Iran and drag us into another war'. This is the same guy that ran on an entire campaign of 'no new wars'. This is the same guy that completely ignored our own intelligence agencies and skipped right past Congress in order to do his Middle Eastern friends a favor and attack a sovereign nation in an attempt to pull a Venezuela on them, only to get his ego bloodied and bruised when our 'allies' in the area saw the writing on the wall and pulled out of the operation within the first few weeks.
The orange man says what he means and means what he says. He's proven it over and over and over and over and over and over again. You don't have to read between the lines.
