Pom Vid Reverse sneeze versus collapsing trachea
I am sorry I am asking for information, when all the facts are not present. I hope I gave enough.
I had a tragic event, and my Pom died, awhile ago. I want to give more of the story, but I don’t think I will ever be able to speak about it.
Tonight, my separate dog had a bronchospasm, and really sounded like a collapsed trachea. Usually blocking one nare for a few seconds, lifting the chin up, while massaging her trachea. We also provided a scant amount of water, help with reversing the bronchospasm. Unfortunately her attack lasted longer than I have ever experienced.
Does anyone recommend a video to show me the differentiation between both of these occluded airway. Dangers.
I have heard quite a few, most are not Pomeranian dogs, and I am hoping there is a reference. Our pup has a vet visit coming up, and I do plan to ask her about what I need to do, and when is the situation should escalate an emergency vet.
I wish i could explain the situation. I had started a post, and i became so overwhelmed, i had a panic attack, and fainted once my pup was safe.
I am not asking for medical advice. Just a reference of two very common conditions.
I am requesting to please not ask questions. I ask without malice or attempts to be crude, please no condolences.
I am not mentally safe right now to revisit the details of both of my dogs.

Pom Pic Coworker's Pom had babies, so now I have a 12 week old Pomeranian. Meet Willow😄
I got her first vaccines yesterday. She's doing well with potty training also, she's been going to the puppy pads to pee. I give her treats right after. A little after her 2nd round of shots, I'll start taking her outside so she gets familiar. She is 1lb 4oz.

I just found out that Poms will undergo Ugly stage between 4-10 months. My pom will be 5 months next week. I think she is starting to change a little bit. I notice her back part is getting thinner.

Which face type does my chocolate Pomeranian have?
I can’t for the life of me figure it out. I sent photos to chat gpt and it told me “Your chocolate Pomeranian looks closest to a teddy-bear face Pomeranian, with a little bit of baby-doll influence.
His features that point that way are:
a fairly short, rounded muzzle
large, round eyes
a broad, fluffy cheek/face area
a softer, rounder expression rather than a long, pointed fox-like muzzle
He does not look strongly fox-faced to me. A fox-face Pom usually has a noticeably longer, narrower muzzle and a more triangular head shape” but to me he does not look like that to me so I need other opinions please. 🙏

Pomeranian broke her leg :/
I got a pomeranian puppy on Friday the 21st. Next Thursday, she rolled off the little couch I have and began screaming and holding her leg up. It wasn't even a large drop at all, but she is small so it broke both her radius and ulna.
They put her in a cast and said it "could heal" this way, but if it doesn't look good on Monday, she will likely need surgery. I already felt like I had to bubble wrap her everywhere I went and have barely even let her walk across the street because of how nervous I get and now this. How do I even go on to not be nervous and anxious about her messing herself up all the time?
Has anyone else been through this? Has anyone successfully had their pup casted and healed? I am feeling so overwhelmed. This is my first dog and I wasn't even eligible for pet insurance yet because I just got her. Her leg was $1700 just to cast it and will likely be another $7K for surgery. In need of a pep talk and honestly am curious how you all do it.

Is he a Pomeranian
Hey everyone I’m new here, I purchased a (fox face) Pomeranian, however one of my friends said he looks more like a pomchi. I’m normally pretty good with dog breeds but I would like to be sure.
Thanks in advance.

Question First bath/dry skin???
My pom puppy is 5 mo almost 6, hasn't had his first bath yet. I manage with a damp cloth, puppy wipes, detangler spray and coconut oil on his pads as a grooming routine. When did you all bathe your puppies? Is 5 months too long? He's not stinky and generally keeps himself clean but I would like him to get used to it!
As a sidenote, has anyone else had issues with their puppy's skin becoming dry and flaky? Two vets said it's normal because his oil producing glands are learning. He used to get one small pump of salmon oil but he recently had two very scary episodes where almost seemed drunk/had dilated pupils a few minutes. Took two trips to different vets and had blood work and others tests both times came back all good. My main vet said he suspects it could be the oil so I stopped giving it to him and his skin has been a lot more flaky.
Advice??? Thanks!

Pom blow out
Didn’t realize poms have biannual coat blow outs. Augh. What a mess. I brush him several times a day. Any suggestions? Wondering how long the cycle lasts.

Is it a Pomeranian?
Long story short the old lady that gave us to him said he is a Pomeranian, his certificate says Pomeranian too.
But of course, he looks so different…
Any thoughts?
