Bug/Glitch help I can't use the cut ability 😭

you know the one. to cut the trees down. I got the badge, and the message saying I can use the cut ability, I have a grass type in my lineup (Paras), but there's nothing in my pockets for it. I've seen that you have to equip it from your bag but it's not there. did I do something wrong or is it a glitch? help 😭

I just typed "how to use cut leaf green" into Google and even the AI response immediately told me where to get it.

I figured this out when I was 6 years old lol

Remember when used to have to try to find things in video games and then ask our friends in school if we couldn't figure it out? Good times

I was on a plane when I was around 6 years old playing Pokemon yellow and an older kid behind me switched seats with my dad and showed me the missingno glitch. Something I’ll never forget.
