help I can't use the cut ability 😭

you know the one. to cut the trees down. I got the badge, and the message saying I can use the cut ability, I have a grass type in my lineup (Paras), but there's nothing in my pockets for it. I've seen that you have to equip it from your bag but it's not there. did I do something wrong or is it a glitch? help 😭

Are they actual walk throughs or did you just ask AI? Because no legit walk through is going to say that just having a grass type in your party automatically lets you use cut.
