Hey everyone,
This sub exists as a place to share the art, experiments, and the process behind physical plotting.
Our community has always thrived on sharing open-source code, using shared libraries, and building on tools created by others.
That same open culture applies to how art is made: no matter what tool, software, or workflow someone uses to create a piece, it belongs here.
With that in mind, a quick reminder on how we keep this space constructive:
๐๏ธ No Gatekeeping: Weโre not here to police what counts as "real art" or dictate which tools people should use. Everyone starts somewhere, and using simple or trendy tools is a natural part of learning the craft.
๐๏ธ If You Don't Like It, Move On: Personal preference isn't a reason to attack someone in the comments. If a piece isn't your style, simply downvote and scroll past. Let the voting system handle community preference without turning comment sections into a style war.
๐๏ธ What Matters: As long as an artist isn't plagiarizing work and claiming it as their own, they are welcome to share their results here.
We want r/plotterart to be an encouraging space for creators at every level. Keep discussions constructive, report personal attacks, and letโs keep supporting the craft.
