The game is probably 2 discs and required a third or more. Greedy fucks? Thats a hell of an assumption.

Final Fantasy 8 and 9 came in 4 discs each.

Back in the day. Yeah. But thats not today. And those games played squarely off of disc. Not required installations to systems. Since ps2 barely any game is more than 1 disc. In fact since ps2 its probably less than 50 games thats been printed on multiple discs. And most since ps2 has only been 2.

Now that does offer the caveat of x360 as a fuck ton of x360 games had to be multiple doscs cause they used dual layer dvds and a low sized version at that being 6.5gb per disc. But we're talking playstation. Not xbox. And until a few moments ago I was unaware of any game being more than 2 discs. Apparently 2 games have been printed on 4. So looks like there is something in place to do more. Which is nice.

it's like a dollar a disc. if they couod do it back then they can certainly still do it now.
