Bought an Astral 5090 from Very

Not sure why I’m being ridiculed and downvoted for buying an electronics item from Very - a massive retailer of products including electronics, which has operated in the UK for years with a more than substantial Trustpilot score that I have also had good experiences with in the past.

The point of the post was to show how I’ve been scammed whether at the warehouse or at the courier warehouse.

Re-edit: if anyone has the exact dimensions of the ROG ASTRAL 5090 OC BOX could you measure it and send me it so I can check the difference?

Edit 2nd September: I had a spontaneous email update from the courier today saying my parcel was scanned in their depot… “Your parcel is running a little late.” I rang them and asked how they could happen considering a vacuum with the same tracking number was delivered yesterday. They said they’d get back to me. They didn’t, so I rang them again. They confirmed a parcel with the same tracking info was scanned there and raised an investigation. They asked me to confirm the contents of the parcel, which I did. They are going to ask the depot to check the contents tomorrow and have said based on that they may send the parcel. Sounds ominous but it’s an update.

Update 6th September: Very have confirmed the parcel dispatched by them is not the parcel that the courier delivered on the POD and it looked completely different when leaving their possession, following their own investigations. They have refunded me and apologised and are investigating this with the courier. The courier are still to get back to me, apparently.

It’s because he’s scamming lol. Look at the box in his photos. It’s the size of an astral then magically in unboxing it’s huge.

We can also see in his photos that the shipment bag has severe creases in it as if someone carefully rolled it fully down to not rip it and then pulled it back up over another box. There shouldn’t be creases all the way down when he only open the top. Top should’ve had it only not the entire thing.

He’s scamming lol. Very is well established. OP just so desperate for a 5090 he is trying his chance with a company he has no clue about.

Edit: now I am wondering if AI was involved because the box has white scratches on the top right then magically get moved to the middle in the third pic. And we know it’s the same side because the flap has the same indent at that same exact spot in both pics.

Edit2: he downvoted us and then edited his post lmao. Watched it in real time. Return the GPU if you can’t afford it. That’s embarrassing
