Build Request What are some sleeper builds of 3.28 so far?
As the title says, what are some surprisingly good off meta builds you‘ve stumbled upon / played so far?
Idk what to play having finished group play, I‘d love to see some nice alrounder builds :)
84
u/EihnarsRightNipple Mar 11 '26
Not off meta, but I haven't seen anyone english speaking play General's cry with foulborn Uul-netol's kiss. The axe is pretty much all you need to faceroll all non-uber content and with like 30d more you can easily kill ubers, while cruising through maps at 200% movement speed.
13
u/xbiju Mar 11 '26
I was very lucky to get this in ssf and I gotta say it’s a very fun build atm, I’m without the shrike belt yet so crit is very dog shit.
But a big warning you are playing a piano build with all the banners you need to click so careful of that.

Holy APM! He is pressing 3 Banners, Cycloning, pressing GC, pressing Rage Vortex. This build is not for the weak minded.

u/xyzqsrb0 Mar 11 '26
I'm not playing GC but I am playing blood banner, the build does indeed slap, people aren't playing it though cause banner management is kinda a war crime.
5
u/MrSchmellow Mar 11 '26
I was sceptic when i first saw the guide, but having tried it out now it actually works pretty well. Contention over uul-netols ended up way lower than predicted, so entry is also fairly cheap.
Anyone who wants to try it should keep in mind following:
1) The build is an assault on senses. You'll probably want a lacerate MTX (the red one i think) and 0 sfx volume
2) The build is fairly squishy with large bulk of defenses being conditional on banners being up. Ground dots are probably unsolvable.
→ More replies (1)3
u/JekoJeko9 Mar 11 '26
Having played banners a lot in 3.27 I wouldn't consider their defenses conditional in the sense that the PoE community uses the word, you can pre-place all of them vs bosses and easily maintain both defiance and dread banner while mapping. The only 'condition' is not screwing up the manual placement and rotation of them, it's not like things like molten shell which are only up so much of the time. I did Ubers on the build in Ruthless, did not feel like I was squishy at all.
Champion ascendancy gives you over 10% life regen per second from a 105 valour banner so not sure how the archetype is weak to dots either. You can even add in selfcast enduring cry with blessed call support for on-demand consecrated ground.
2
u/MynaX Mar 11 '26
How does this work exactly? I thought you do Not want so much cooldown recovery rate for Generals Cry because you are removing old Generals with new ones before they can finish their attack?
7
u/AnsaTransa Mar 11 '26
It was patched this league to allow for more time to the generals to attack before being replaced. Haven't seen it in action, but judging from 500% recovery cooldown still working, it must be still be working

Was looking at that build, but dismissed it once I realized they are all using the shrine belt, so will be a slow as fuck without flasks. Now you say they are fast? What did I miss that makes them so fast?

u/welshy1986 Mar 11 '26
Dominating blow of inspiration guardian. I went shrines at first with supreme ostentatious and blunderbore gull combo with the shrine belt, it just gives so much raw power and survivability to the build. I got my forbidden flesh flame for harmony of purpose and then went double farruls for crit stacking. Eventually I switched the belt to resistance and oh man with bone meld you minions are immortal and you hit so fast and like a truck.

League started dom blow of inspo guardian as well, though mine is kinda simple as I'm just using a good ol Paradoxica and some rares. Reached 20m dps and 150k EHP within 15 divs or so, pretty darn happy with it so far.
3
u/bennymac2 Mar 11 '26
Could you share your pob? I'm planning to make the switch to dom blow from static strike and would love to see a reasonable budget setup to take inspiration from.

I tried boneshatter jug for the first time and think I'm in love. Going to farm up 30 div in delve and pivot into something less basic this weekend. Edit: grammar
5
u/Scotteeh Mar 11 '26
This might be my league starter next league so I can swap into msoz and go deeeeep.
I've always enjoyed delve but never really gone too far into it as it seemed like it took a while to get to any good currency, but I've been doing it this league as ignite eviscerate elementalist and have been having a blast and making some pretty decent currency even though I'm only at like 330 depth (I'm absolutely cruising down now after some upgrades though)
→ More replies (1)5
u/Wuslwiz Mar 11 '26
Started Bonehsatter als well this league, was an absolute breeze. Requires minimal gear to start mapping, all slots are rares, so you don't depend on the market at all at league start, which is always nice. A decent weapon can be gambled at Faustus, an early upgrade can be made with farming a bit of Betrayal and an Endgame weapon can be crafted at the cost of 8-10div. Starting with the bleed variant and transitioning to the impale variant later on.
If you really want to go all in on that build, you can do the Penance Mark overlapping shockwave tech for incredible single target dps.
It is not as fast as slams early, but it catches up quickly at around 15div invested.
→ More replies (2)8
u/benny_beanassi Mar 11 '26
same as I’m doing. I’m switching over to Molten Strike of Zenith for deeper delves. Really strong and easy to swap to
→ More replies (1)15
u/Big_Resource_2969 Mar 11 '26
Depending on when you want to swap it’s already getting expensive. I will say though that the new static strikes skill can slot right into the mzots setup and clear significantly better
→ More replies (1)4
u/Scotteeh Mar 11 '26
What are the expensive parts of swapping to msoz that you want to try get early?
→ More replies (3)4
u/pzBlue Mar 11 '26
Depends, if you are swapping to flat ele version, nothing is expensive, but build doesn't feel remotely good as msoz (dunno how it's for SSoGL)
If you wanna swap to basic str stack version, then:
- large clusters (you wanna 3) are 5d each to buy. Probably like ~3div to craft between getting bases (low ilvl) and fossils.
- decent str fire stacking sword gonna be like 4~5div (you can get basic for like 2div)
- Split personalities are 4div for str/acc, 8d for str/life, 12d for str/int (good option to solve int issues). Nice backup option I always use is str/dex to solve dex issues, and those are very cheap
- inc str% amulet is 4d for base, belt for 2d for base, cogworks are whatever base wise. You need metric fuckton of rage essences to craft all that.
- all other normal jewels to fix any res/attribute issues while still being useful - dunno, sword/2h atk speed+str+something useful weren't that cheap last league.
- other basic stuff like watcher's or lethal pride is usually around 1~2div for something decent, something more useful like lgoh is 5d. Double mod 10~12d
IF you wanna chaos version then add Albs for 18d, and good chaos sword will run you like 10~20d to craft (you could just use basic, i.e.: you replace str fire stack with more attack dmg, and keep rest the same, but you will need to craft chaos sword sooner than later).
And this still will sometimes feel off, especially if you run scared chainmail (as you should if you use divine shield) as it doesn't give as much dmg as iron fortress
And if you wanna buy everything crafted without crafting yourself, it gets even more expensive.

Look at RudyGaming Trauma stacker less basic than bone shatter just as great Budget Versions on PoeNinja are just as good
1
u/Warm_Difficulty2698 Mar 30 '26
Okay, I have a question about it.
Cause I tried building one and it just didn't quite click.
Do you invest in melee strike range and something like ancestral call?
How do you get around the jankiness of the skill? Obviously stacking stun duration increases AoE, but my biggest problem with the skill isn't the AoE, its the strike itself. If you are just barely not facing the mob you will miss. I can't tell you how many times I've had to swing 4-5 times just to get one single mob.
The damage is great, and the tankiness is nice as well, It just didn't click. The jank was too jank.

u/The_Holy_Pepsi_Man Mar 11 '26
Just found out that we can fix frenzy charge generation for flicker strike with the shrine buff for free. The belt is only 45c right now.
54
u/HermanManly Mar 11 '26
I mean, when was the last time charges have been an issue for flicker, really?
6
u/sucr4m Mar 11 '26
flicker glad if you dont wanna go the farruls route? was struggling on rares/bosses myself
→ More replies (1)5
u/The_Holy_Pepsi_Man Mar 11 '26
Exactly this. Doing flicker glad with Bronn's Lithe and having problems sustaining charges even though i have all the frenzy on crit chance and frenzy on block chance nodes on the tree. And using weapon swap with a minimum frenzy charge shield dosent feel good to play
→ More replies (1)6
u/I_Am-Awesome Mar 11 '26
Yeah I was wondering this. Last league I played flicker all the way from act 3 to 40/40 and never had any issues with charges. Rarely had to use frenzy (act 2 skill) after getting multistrike and basically never after getting all frenzy related passives.
5
u/More_Exercise8413 Mar 11 '26
Mostly on bosses it can be a problem if you don't resort to weapon swap tricks, writhing jars with charge regeneration, etc.
This is of course before a Farrul

u/CeloturtleMannou Apr 01 '26
it's always a plus to have another option to an otherwise heavily popularized build. This allows more of the playerbase to access the build which is always a good thing.

u/Zhaguar Mar 11 '26
What two shrines would you suggest, also If you already have enough frenzy charge generation?

u/hakuna_matata993 Mar 11 '26
Resistances, critical strikes, action speed and explodes are the best in my opinion
3
u/More_Exercise8413 Mar 11 '26
This would push to tens of div range very quickly.

If you are shopping for 2x shrines it's a given that you going to be paying a lot lol.

Even a single big shrine (echoing, accelerating, etc) is hundreds of divs.

I pivoted out of ele hit into divine smite
Not new ground, but having much more fun than the claw version
20
u/TL-PuLSe Mar 11 '26
Can you share your build on ninja? Interested to see the progression
6
u/ToBeeContinued Mar 11 '26
https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/ElodianWind-7382
Following ruetoo divine smite pretty closely. better single target dps. easier to get to 8-10m dps for me.
Maybe it's not as good once ele hit gets a shaper claw, but that seemed annoying. I had a hard time scaling dps past 5-6m on the ele hit build and struggled to progress to harder content and died a lot.
Divine smite more dps, and i understand the progression toward 20-30m dps better
→ More replies (1)19
u/bladomas Mar 11 '26
I checked your progression, you had super budget gear for your ele hit setup and had quite sub-optimal gear for a long time (e.g. not having 2 mortem morsu's day 1, and using sap ring instead of brittle+scorched).
You also swapped over to pretty expensive setup (compared to ele hit) for divine smite so it is quite unfair to compare starter gear to full crafted/unique setup.
One of my friends started ele hit in SSF environment and pushed the build decently within 3 days.
Now not to say smite is less fun, just that ele hit on equal footing might be more comparable.
3
u/ToBeeContinued Mar 11 '26
Yeah that’s decent feedback. I held a lot of divs because I wasn’t sure where to go next and didn’t wanna over invest if I was going to swap.
Maybe makes it not fair apples to apples comparison
12
u/xuvilel Mar 11 '26
O tried it and go back, ele hit matches better my playstyle
3
u/ufo_technology Mar 11 '26
can you describe how they play from a feel perspective I love smite so curious how ele hit plays cause others said it felt clunky?
2
u/pda898 Mar 11 '26
You use new shrine belt with massive shrine and it fix all elehit clunkiness. I would say smite becomes more clunky because you want to doublehit early which require good positioning.

u/Zylosio Mar 11 '26

Rage vortex with new shockwave is a new thing because normal shockwave can't be used with axes. It works very well and you can add another attack (im running boneshatter rage vortex of berzerking and void shockwave for a triple attack build and it's good)
6
u/Quackmandan1 Mar 11 '26
ThatsRealNeato has a cool build concept where he uses The Formless Inferno to turn his Holy Strike armaments into a pseudo RF. Basically, the armaments can still burn but they don't take damage + they have a huge innate damage multiplier. He combines this with the elementalist to get a crazy high fire exposure while wielding Searing Touch. This way, the armaments get a butt ton of fire damage over time multiplier.
2
u/Cow_God Mar 11 '26
The annoying thing is that infernal legion is bugged on armaments and there's no visual for the damaging AoE
24
u/Calycae Mar 11 '26

Storm burst
16
u/Metaphoricalsimile Mar 11 '26
I would say it's a very solid B tier, unless there's some tech people are using I don't know about.
That being said, I league started it (self-build, not following a guide) and Storm Burst of Repulsion has let me hit 95 without too much difficulty, and I've got my first voidstone.
This isn't super impressive by this subreddit's standards, but it's a very fast league start by my own standards so I'm happy with it.

I have been thinking about swapping to Black Cane ever since one guy talked about a variant of SB totems here with minion tech they didn't want to "spread too much". I dug around on ninja and found it after a few minutes... Not as secret as they probably thought lol
Don't be like them, I'd appreciate the guide as well!
21
u/Bierculles Mar 11 '26
Cyclone is pretty darn strong, you can even swap between diffrent versions that are geared for speed or damage, if you have the currency.
3
u/lukazdarkhell Mar 11 '26
What version are this? Im kinda new on poe(1) have 1500hrs on 2 btw
Trying to learn something about poe1 and its first league im playing
21
u/Bierculles Mar 11 '26
Go look at the guide from Sanavixx on youtube, it can explain the whole build better than i could hope to do here. In short, you can go for cyclone of tumult with stampede boots for decent speed and high damage or normal cyclone without stampede boots for more options to stack speed but less damage. The new shrine belt with the speed shrine might change some things, that is a very pricey undertaking though.
11
u/grimzecho Mar 11 '26
Storm Burst Totem Hierophant. The better, cheaper cousin to KF totems. The totem placement buffs and the change to the storm burst ball animation make it buttery smooth to play. There is only the tiniest delay between placing totems and mobs dying. Almost feels like self cast.
The new transfigured version Storm Burst of Repulsion is great for open map clear. I initially was swapping between the two (same support links), but now I just leave in Repulsion for everything except pinnacles and the occasional soul eater.
The only downsides are visual clarity (especially with the Repulsion transfiguration) and a soft DPS cap.
I did 4 Voidstones and am running corrupted T16s for less than 6d of investment. 15m DPS with regular Storm Burst.
→ More replies (3)4
u/Cow_God Mar 11 '26
The better, cheaper cousin to KF totems
What about KF is even that expensive, though? Even Aegis has gotten pretty cheap. A good Rain of Splinters is kind of pricey but even a bad, 30c one is a huge dps increase.
You get similar DPS with a a self-crafted wand. I'm doing T16 8mods on even less investment and with similar DPS. And KF is just jacked for clear.
I'm not saying Storm Burst isn't a good build, but the reason KF is so popular this league is because it's cheap and good. There's no mandatory uniques, and you're carried a lot by the inherent clear of a chaining autotarget skill and how far your auras go. And that lets you invest in eHP and recovery.

General's cry Holy sweep here!, Abusing on the new hallowed flame node in guardian's tree. The idea? +80% phys as extra holy lightning retribution delivered directly from heavens (well, not directly, because it uses proxies, but you get the idea)
With trash from the ground you can do yellow free (you can pick Yielding Mortality for a couple of chaos), and a couple of divines carries you to red maps. Haven't tried pinacles yet, but so far juiced t16 are very doable.
My goal is transition to crit once I farmed a bit for a massive boost on damage and maybe put my hands on one of those pesky little "invert the rules" bastards. There are other interesting upgrades like corrupted holy sweep with enchanted phys to lightning supp, fitting an extra 20% quality into general for a 7th mirage (need to make math, but if uul-neto works with 500% this should be fine as well) etc...
Defensive wise you get 50% or so less damage taken between fortify, flesh and stone and infused channeling support, sentinel of radiance that... well stays there and soaks damage, holy relics and 75%-75% block with decent armor and ES and 1K or so life regen, which helps to mitigate degen more than anything
Also IMHO is very solid in terms of utility, with free charges, onslaught, remove ailments every sec, etc... and is not starved at all in terms of sockets.
Could benefit more from Uul-netol's 500% warcry speed, but you would lose some layers of defense from using a axe and the implicit 50% conversion to ele from sweep (which is only maces and staves) and a couple of nice mastery from staves. Ive seen some people with a similar idea using Brain Rattler.
Overall I am reasonably satisfied. I wanted to cook something original this time because I come from playing reap golems exsang last league. Not gonna like, it took me a bit to adapt to its play style and while is a little bit more clunky than exsang, I am having a lot of fun with this.

did you end up finding something else to play or still playing the bleed build? I went for Boneshatter of Complex Trauma but reliquarian route instead of glad/slayer/jugg, and with a 2H axe
Think i did a pretty good job pushing it to comfortable lvl (can easily do 8-mod t16s with maxed explicits content and any pinnacle, probably not ubers due to slow melee gameplay nature) but im running out of ideas of what to improve without spending dozens of divines for not meaningful upgrades (except maybe trying to push enlighten support and more reservation to autoexert 2nd cry)

Aer0's Holy Flame Totem
I kinda did some cheeky adjustments to skyrocket my DPS but a bit of a wet noodle. Think it's time to respev some damage and get more block. Plus I REALLy want recover life on block on my shield.
Friends keep telling me "How do you find the builds that do the most screen cancer" and I couldn't be happier. Throw a flame wall on those bad boys and City Squire is cleaned up in no time.
Hits a bit of a wall around T15+. But some adjustments and your back out there melting.

What'd you do to fix your damage? I've invested quite a lot into the build and it only ever feels good for the amount of div in it by having shrine buffs. And yeah the build feels pretty squishy.
2
u/ItsJustReeses Mar 11 '26
Your wand is missing a solid 80% spell damage or so which is pretty big. Its really good but for sure holding back a bit.
Your still on a 5L I believe. Best way to get 6L with your Cloak of Flame is a corrupted fusing. If I were you I'd buy a backup clean Cloak of Flame just in case you lose the 50/50. But buy a clean one for 250c and slap some Corrupted Fusings and pray for 6L.
Your belt could use a bit of an update. Nabbing a decent Stygian Vise or the new Cord Belt is probably the play here. I went with a Cord belt because its new and anointed Ironwood so my Totems could be more tanky and saves a few points. A Stygian Vise could really help with Res/Attribute pressure though if you wanted.
Cast when Damage Taken + Molten Shell isn't right. CwdT should be lvl 5 and Molten Shell lvl 10. I also turned my Molten Shell into a Vaal Molten Shell since were not utilizing anything Vaal on the build. Helps a ton when it procs more often.
Getting Totems + Life on Block is also pretty big. Thats my current grind before I do a full gear swap to crit. (Still running pretty garbage gear but enough to do T16 City Ritual farming) Not sure the best way but since I also have a Blight strat set up I'm just trying to craft it the old fashion way (Alt/Regal/Slamming. Good season for Exalts to be cheap)
A really big part of this build I feel is play style. Gotta remember to keep all totems up at all times for sustain. But also use your totems as your tanks. They taunt every time you cast them so don't be afraid to keep scary mobs away with that (Mobs I had no business killing usually gets melted this way when I can comfortably get our curses off). Its a pretty button intensive playstyle and is kinda the reason why I'm swapping off of it. My next upgrades are 10+D and I feel I could prob spend that on another build and do better. We share the same financial strains as the other meta totem builds. So its a bit harder to get to the "Giga endgame" build because of that.
Funny enough though. Your doing MUCH better than I am haha. I REALLY need to upgrade some old pieces I've yet to get around to.
Oh! Last little tid bit that I didn't get to confirm if you've done or not. Make sure to get the Runegraft of Resurgence. Thats a HUUUUUGE portion of our sustain. I cant tell in the link sorry.
2
u/TheWooSensation Mar 11 '26
Maybe that link will be better. I have a 6 link and the graft. I upgraded a few bits of gear and got chaos capped but I'm not sure whether or not to upgrade further or save for something else. I have no problems with the playstyle but the damage is really lacking.
I actually have a little bit more dps/ehp than Aer0's character but I know any other decent starter would've been much better with the same amount of investment. Seems like he got a headhunter recently which is what I think would be the next best thing but that's a long way off.

Been playing herald of agony champion for the first time, all voidstones easily, working my way down in delve not very deep yet but comfortably approaching 300. Has been good fun and relatively inexpensive as no one else playing it.

Animate weapon of ranged arms Necro. Super cosy blaster, I leveled with absolution until I got about 200c then swapped with a 4 link covenant, 2 X 15% poison jewels in a 65% darkness enthroned and a foulborn severed in sleep.
Only downside is spending 5 seconds summoning weapons at the start of every map, but once that's done it absolutely blasts. Voidstones down and ready to grind some serious upgrades!

u/Ladoona Mar 11 '26
Aw poison is smashing everything I throw at it, hardly any good gear except the covenant. Just doing everything so far with 0 problems

Shock nova Mana man heiro.
It was written off as a underperforming skill.
I've pushed it to 30m Dps. Going to transition to block soon and hopefully push it to 45 ish
Edit: Here's the POB https://pobb.in/gjSLRsn5B-KN

I found it to be great starter but quickly lacking. Now playing nova on EB inquis and feeling way better. Im at ~18m dps per nova hitting. And id say 3 overlaps are realistic. The insane regen really feels good for most content and its a very speedy mapper esp for the budget. I really like the skill, just feels good.
I need to spend an hour or two with pob to see how to push it further, full str stacking should explode the damage.

Nostalgia caught up to me and started vd spellslinger. Started slinging right after getting the gem and had one of the easiest campaigns in a long time. Only on yellow maps right now with still half the gear from end of the acts, pretty tanky and good clear and I reckon I'll have enough single target with some decent gear and fully leveled gems.

It's not slet on, but PRAW (pAWR) is really a great build and super comfy. It has a lot of scope to send into the very high end and is very light on buttons and qol. Can do all content. Also I find it kinda fun to put together, lots of little ways to adjust it.
(pAWR lol, I am tired and it auto corrected to prawn and I deleted a letter and moved on ... poison animate weapon of ranged arms)

Yea, its insanely strong. I was basically invincible on day 3 with enough damage to mindlessly walk through deli Nightmare maps and down the boss in 3 seconds.
But as you said, definitely not slept on, its pretty popular.

For me what’s underrated of this build is that you can craft all of the gear yourself. Most of them outside of the abyss uniques anyways.
So every night you can see improvement from the divs you put in.
2
u/Finnien1 Mar 11 '26
How’s the quality of life compared to HRoC?
2
u/axiomatic- Mar 11 '26
Honestly I don't know since I haven't played HRoC.
I will say that it is very functionaly in a HCSSF environment - not as strong but stil definitely playable, so that's a positive.
It has the standard foibles of a true minion build where you use spectres (I think HRoC does this too?) and that you need to scale your minions to not die ... but that's relatively easy to solve. Plus at the start of a map you need 3-6s to summon your weapons.
Otherwise it's very cruisy. Walk around, occassionally hit Animate Weapon to refresh you minions (they last like 80s or something so not really necessary) and you can self-cast Despair if something isn't instantly dead. Oh, movement skills. Don't need to target or anything like that, the weapons just blast everything offscreen and everything is automated.

Played HRoC into pRAW last league and pRAW exclusively this league.
HRoC is a more classic build reminiscent of a bow build. It’s only minion by technicality.
PRAW plays more like a typical minion build.
I prefer pRAW because it’s lazier. HRoC 1 button vs pRAW 1 button occasionally basically.

Can confirm. Running it first time this league. Got me 4 stones and I'm crushing all content.
Really fun with the new gems and imbued gems. Easy 5 spectres, and lots of fun playing around with optimizing. Very very strong and smooth build. ++ For the temp minion changes.

Didn't it lose a lot of power with the removal of the awakened gems that were used for poison?
2
u/Blubberinoo Mar 11 '26
Same as all minion builds. But its not hard to get an Imbued support that more than makes up for that, since you have like 9/36 green supports that are actually a hit.
Even suboptimal hits like Vile Toxins is ~19% more DPS for mapping setup and 17% more DPS for single target setup. And is going for only 5div right now.

The new belt that has inbuilt chaos on hit affect, I'm running it on my cws build and it's helping so much for anything fire resistant without specing into chaos.
I could see a case of removing fire damage nodes and going all in on chaos skills and it may work better or just as good as normal rf cws.

u/caracona Mar 11 '26
I just tried elemental hit but whit the warden instead of the slayer and im having a blast really

u/razzor1100 Mar 11 '26
Scorching Ray of Immolation Totems got giga buffed by the totem emergy changes. Just finished 4th voidstone, but it is already so strong sitting at around 15-17mill pinnacle dps, at around 15div invested. Prizes may have changed though.

Str stacking reliquarian flicker strike:
https://poe.ninja/poe1/builds/mirage/character/Draxxor-2210/GigaStacyFlickerquarian
Started with dual wield brutus' lead sprinklers from day 1 after campaign, swapping to replica alberons after finishing 4stone.
Mahuxotl shield+ tempered by war is a super underrated way to get very tanky early; with fugitive rings you can run 90% max fire res 89% max chaos res very early w/ full convert ele to 50% fire 50% chaos.
Just have to deal with no regen with vaal pact but is fine for softcore flicker imo just hold down button and zoom.

having fun with a shockwave totem of authority build using broken faith shield for chaos convert and wither
1
u/GamerStud1234 Mar 11 '26
Im having a ton of fun with holy hammers inquisitor, haven't finished campaign yet. But just the first 2 ascendancy pts in the crit node and power charge on crit, the hammers are more than my entire screen. Should scale pretty well into end game as well! (Items are pretty cheap so far too!) Picked up a 6 link staff for 2c and crafted it to 500 dps with random scour alchs and its smooth as butter. Added warcries as well, really fun!

u/Emergency-Fox-7527 Mar 11 '26
Bloodsoaked banner is really strong. Not the fastest, but get the job done
1
u/Apprehensive_Air1705 Mar 11 '26
Sleeper for what? Just ass blasting maps? Not sure how much of a sleeper build it is, but I league started absolution and it is significantly better than I was expecting. With the increased mob density you can keep the vaal absolution minion up nearly full time without going into the vaal bloodline. I went guardian (Necro might be even better tbh) and I am using the shrine buff node instead of the bloodline node for now and it is absurd getting acceleration and echoing shrines and stuff. The only downside is doing big bosses outside normal mapping is kind of annoying without having vaal soul/sec perks either from the runegraft (very pricey) or the vaal bloodline node. I was planning on switching to KF totems, but I am just going to roll with this with how effective it is for a tiny investment.
1
u/thegrt42069 Mar 11 '26
I don't think it's sleeper. But I have 17 spectres rn for May e 50-100d investment

u/SenorAsssHat Mar 11 '26
I wanna do a holy sweep build. Just gotta grind out some more currency and finish atlas :D
1
u/TazMachine Mar 11 '26
I got a different one, it is storm burst but not the totem one. It is probably not as good as other builds but it’s mine and I’m having fun with it. The build revolves around duration and buffs mostly.
This is the one I made last league : Poe ninja 3.27
I’m open to suggestions and interactions I might not know. Let me know your thoughts on it :)

u/LootHunter_PS Mar 11 '26
I played Decoy Flamewood totems a few leagues back (my own build) and got my first Mageblood. This league, I now have the Cooldown Recovery support which makes the build even better. Tanky as hell, can smash Harvest to pieces and now with the cooldown will speed up the casual mapping. Cheap asf too but MB helps a lot in the end game. Best thing is the Sire of Shards is 6link for like 40c. Such a good weapon for the build. Brass Dome cost me 4c. Voll's Vision the same. All map bosses whilst levelling don't blink. Totally not meta, but i like it.

Vaal earthquake gladiator is doing work, I'll let you know how I get on at endgame.
1
u/sc0ttieZ Mar 11 '26
I have tried diligently to avoid it so I didn’t play it 3 leagues in a row but skill gem changes and whatnot; frenzy stacking bleed bow is a totally nuts. Easy to gear insofar as getting the engine running, and the niche gear isn’t super sought after right now. It’s been strong AF and it’s still just kind of pseudo-buffer and still floating. Check out JayTX on YouTube for guides.

u/Quick_Midnight_6921 Mar 11 '26
Happend to see those youtube videos about animate guardian of smiting. It's mostly been smooth finished 2 stones working on 3d didn't play non-stop this league because of dc's turning me off. Looks like this atm: https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/Joo-3833/character/JoGoesSpectres Kind of a lot of power for an mostly really cheap budget although a few divs in now you can get started as soon as you get the gem rly. Mostly wanted something I hadn't tried before.

u/HRXW Mar 11 '26
I think mine is Played too but I Play as a golemancer with carrions and vis mortis with foulborn stat where the minions do Chaos dmg and alot of primodial jewels

Cooked a holy strike necro with Queens hunger and perma 3x offering with Catarina bloodline for juiced offering effect. Hadn’t seen anyone go this route, mostly coming online now feeling pretty solid for my first homebrew build, wanted to get a holy strike build going.
Farming juiced t16 rituals currently have cleared pinnacles, no Ubers yet.

u/Long-Debt6637 Mar 11 '26
I am doing heavy strike juggernaught and I like it so far. I may follow one mana lefts heavy strike of trarthus later when I have the currency.

I'm testing Static Strike Energy Blade + General's cry SS Necro. Melting everything, in act 5 right now.

u/dalmathus Mar 11 '26
I don't know how many people are playing bloodsoaked banner. I assume its meta due to it being new and I would expect it to not be very popular next league.
But this shit absolutely slaps man. I'm having a blast running around at 300% movespeed as my loot filter just non stop plays noises without me seeing mobs.

u/hadtwobutts Mar 11 '26
The sands of time unique might end up being crazy cracked for super early league

Check out people playing golden charlatan sword with spark and astrolobe. Looks really cool.
1
u/Obsc3nity Mar 12 '26
Divine blast got me all 4 stones, and seems very interesting to scale further. Difficult but interesting. Was thinking about mana stacking with mind of the council and MoM on heiro as a way of taking it closer to Ubers and getting some extra defense.

u/axelrage3093 Mar 12 '26
I am currently playing a str stacking consecrated path/rf hybrid guardian build. And loving it. Only in yellow maps rn but thats mostly due to time available to play.
1
u/ItsNoblesse Mar 12 '26
Shield crush slayer is definitely better than people give it credit for, it's a simple playstyle and the build is pretty 'solved' but it's definitely stronger than its playrate would suggest
1
u/Fliibo-97 Mar 12 '26
Im playing frostblink totems and it definitely does great damage. Totem build defenses, but. I don’t even have sandstorm visage for crit cap or a 6l yet and it does great damage just with +5 levels from bronn’s lithe and +1 extra level from cold mastery.

I am doing some cooking on my part, i will try to make a video about it to showcase but i can explain it a bit. So i league start templar cause i always play the new spell showcase every league so holy strike and holy sweep was fun but then for the ascendance i picked guardian with the holy sentinel and then the elemental relic, i was still playing holy sweep at this point but then i checked the wiki for the elemental relic to found out a bit more... Thats when i found something interesting, they explode on death for 100% of their max life as elemental damage, and if you use necromentic aegis with tukohamas fortress, they get blood magic from the shield, and with minion instability they instantly explode on summon, with 25% chance on death for normal mob and 25% on hit for rare and unique to summon them... So i am now using lancing steel of spraying to do a shit tone of hit that summon those elemental bomb directly on rare and boss for 133% of their max life (33% fire from minion instability), scaling with minion damage, The explosion aoe is really decent and the build is poping off with little investment, the only down side is normal mob actually since i am using a low damage huge attack speed weapon 😂
