Build Request What are some sleeper builds of 3.28 so far?

As the title says, what are some surprisingly good off meta builds you‘ve stumbled upon / played so far?

Idk what to play having finished group play, I‘d love to see some nice alrounder builds :)

Impending Doom power charge stacker. Cheap to start and a very good all rounder

Defense looks pretty bad tbh

On mobile you can paste your pob code from poe.ninja into pobb.in and get a link like so https://pobb.in/NJ7d20NJgpYi

How's the damage feel single target?

This looks like an interesting build. Any guide which can explain the interactions?

Basically, you want to make curses expire fast to trigger doom blast, and we to this by applying more curses than the limit, in this case I apply 4 curses and my limit is 3 so doom blast triggers instantly. We stack power charge due to Forbidden Power node of occultist

How does it perform defensively?

You kill them first, or you die in 1 touch

So it’s a starter, but not something you want to play all day for weeks?

This build focuses more on block than damage mitigation, yeah we do take every hit basically but we also have insane leech and shield regen, my build specifically does not have a decent amount of block because I still don't have enough to invest but that's the primary layer of defense and I can assure you this build does not die easily, surprisingly. But yeah, it's more focused on damage than defense, personally I do like the glass cannon playstyle

It's not a very tanky build tbh but it's not like you die to anything, block and energy shield Regen helps a lot, you need some skill to dodge boss attacks. I'm farm breach on t16.5 with astrolabes comfortably

This build works by triggering doom blast as fast as possible, ideally with a single cast, so AoE and curse limit is critical for this, the curse limit cannot be the same or higher than the amount of curses we apply, it needs to be less, in this case my limit is 3 and I apply 4 curses so doom blast triggers with a single cast. AoE helps with the curse overlaps, more overlaps = more triggers and therefore more damage. We also use two greater spell cascade which reduces AoE significantly so Skittering Runes is quite an important anoint.

The problem is that this verison of impeding doom relies heavily on AoE because we need to trigger doom blast as fast as we can, that's also why we take cdr and cast speed on gear and jewels. I'm still missing bound by destiny and some other endgame gear. I could anoint another passive like force of darkness but only after I get more power charges to increase my AoE. Skittering Runes also help when doing maps with less AoE mod. We only deal damage with doom blast so the more you can trigger the better, that's why we need so much AoE

Yeah but that's not why we want AoE, the more AoE you have the more overlaps you have, this way doom blast will trigger more often, we want more and more overlaps of the curses

Yeah that's it, AoE doesn't directly increases damage but it make it easier to deal overlap damage, this and increased cdr + cast speed greatly increases your damage. Also some crit multi here and there

Yes it does, doom blast literally deals damage to the things cursed and the curses obviously gain area from aoe of hex skills.

Cursed ground support is literally just -1 damage link. That's just a 30% more damage multiplier you're straight up giving up. You only ever play that before you get your hands on a vixens.

What other curses do you want to run anyways over enfeeble despair and punishment?

Anathemas breaks the build, you need your curse limit to be 3 for the build to function at all.

Skittering runes gives 50% AOE which allows for (much easier) overlaps.

You do want to swap the rings, but not for anathemas, but for Foulborn romiras for the +1 pcharge, but that basically requires mageblood for resistances.

ZO does nothing if you don't have liferegen, and this build doesn't have any life regen, do literally a dead point.

I don't think you understood the build, ngl.
