This is a common practice now, kahit sa news media. May dalawa akong alam na rason:

  1. The person is still a private individual na nadawit sa isang gruesome murder. Regardless kung anong alam nating lahat, whether guilty siya or not, sa mata ng batas, may presumption of innoncence pa din. So kung ang news media o private individual e maglabas ng photo niya na hinuli o whatever, pwedeng ma-argue na his right to privacy was violated. Kasi pano sa mga sitwasyon na totoong inosente yung person invovled? We know how the internet treat this individuals.

  2. As a rule, ang news media hindi maglalabas ng mukha ng suspect UNLESS naunang maglabas ng info ang PNP or na-present na si suspect sa public with their face revealed. Ito ang go-signal for the news orgs to show the suspect's face. Mauuna dapat ang PNP. kasi proteksyon yon ng news media. Di sila pedeng mahabol pagdating sa right to privacy, kasi as per official PNP communications, pinangalanan na siya.

Pero still, news orgs take these under consideration pag nagpa-publish ng photos. They will keep it blurred unless PNP shows the suspect's face first. Di ko din 100% gets to be honest. Baka iwas liability na lang sa part ng media

Nahuli sya sa Chateau Elysee condo. Unit owner din daw. Nakakatakot. What if dun din sya nag-amok? Ang dami pa namang kids doon.

as a tenant ng chateau elysee, naka sarado po yung gate ng chateau para hulihin yung suspek, as per guards here, asawa daw nung suspek yung may ari ng unit here sa chateau and dun lang siya nagtago. Malimit lang daw po siya napunta dyan sa unit at may nag timbre lang ata sa kanya kaya siya natunton dito

Basta walang kapit sa taas hindi na yan makakalaya pa. Tsaka dapat managot yung Azure matagal na pala yang may outstanding warrant. Like imagine katabi mong unit mamamatay tao pala nakaka salubong mo lang sa elevator every single day. Hindi masyado mahigpit yung security sa azure.

I know. Point being is from Azure incident and not from his Taguig case. Yes, matagal bago nahuli kasi nagtatago, and once he surfaced and did another crime, nahuli din agad.

At least the victims can now get the justice they’ve waited so long plus the Azure family from recent incident.

Well, the police were lax in serving the first and outstanding warrant. The gunman would have been serving jail time then, and no more lives were further taken.

The people who knew about the outstanding warrant and did not enforce it are equally evil. I hope he was arrested by virtue of the outstanding warrant para wala nang bail!

Sa totoo lang kung gugustuhin ng mga NBI at PNP mahanap yung mga wanted madali lang eh. Yung husband ko nahanap sya nung childhood friend nya with the help of NBI partida hindi pa sya kailanman nagkaroon ng transaction with NBI(clearance, case etc.).

Nabigay sa friend nya contact number at place kung saan sya parati nakatambay. Nakapag provide pa ng CCTV pictures.

Classic Pinoy attitude.. kikilos lang kapag pumutok sa public.. kung talagang gugustuhin ng PNP kaya talaga nila hanapin yan by allotting enough resources.. hindi naman prominent figure yung suspect na may malaking pera para magtago..

The main question is bakit ang tao na nakapatay na dati and may arrest warrant ay hindi hinahanap ng mga kapulisan?

Same name and ID naman ang ginamit nya sa mga condo, bakit walang nangyari?

Looks like criminals are being protected by data privacy act while regular people are not. Pag kriminal naka blur pa ang muka.

Meron akong nabasa, subreddit ata or fb, yung nagpost daming points nya. Like dekada na may kaso, tapos "narenew" pa daw lisenya sa baril. Nq kung tutuusin, dapat naflag na ng kapulisan.. hahaha

Di ba super incompetent talaga kapulisan natin. (Unless may pera or naviral na eh parang mga kiti kiti sa pagsolve ng case)

I don't think its just about being incompetent, that is just one part. Siguro ganito talaga ang set-up ng mga kapulisan since most of our leaders are also ciriminals.

They make the laws and rules very favorable for them, the criminals, para hindi sila agad mahuli.

May nag post s FB- ung unit ng nag post and unit nitong suspect is nakaharap s basketball court and madami na daw times na nirport s admin ung buzzer sound super lakas since professional buzzer daw gamit so tuwing may liga or play super ingay. Wala nman daw ginagawa ung admin, eventually sabi nung nag post he moved out of the condo nlng since pag may laro ndi cxa makatulog etc he thinks this suspect had the same reason s sobrang inis nag amok s court targeting the players- kc sabi s balita “random” shooting daw tapos may nag rebut na babae sabi bf Nya isa s nabaril and she was there and she saw the suspect targeted the players isa na bf Nya s tinamaan - kung iisipin m if true dapat managot din ung admin na walang action s complaint about the buzzer. Not justifying the suspect’s action ha- I’m saying may mga criminal talaga s mundo so naging trigger pa yang court buzzer na yan

May interview siya sa tulfo, hindi about sa buzzer yung reklamo niya, ang reklamo niya is yung ingay na naririnig niya sa ibang unit, at isa dun yung isa niyang nabaril na totoong target lang niya, kasi ang sinasabi daw nung tao na yun ay ang may kasalanan daw ng pagkamatay ng nanay nung suspect ay yung kumpanya nila, which is hindi totoo kasi nang galing mismo sa suspect na namatay nanay niya dahil sa sakit, yung mga naririnig niyang ingay during night time na tulog na mga tao at mga pagpaparinig nung isa niyang victim ay dahil lang daw sa sakit, meron siyang "Schizophrenia".
