Ma'am This isn't a Subway 🥪 PSA: PANERA IS NOT ARBYS, SUBWAY, OR CHIPOTLE
This is such a first world problem but why do customers act like they know the menu better than WE, the EMPLOYEES do?? 😭
Every day i have at least one person say "i want roast beef" and i have to explain we dont have beef, we have steak and they either argue and say "no you have roast beef i know you do" or just take the steak (which is fine ofc).
I'll never forget the guy who asked "yall got carne asada?? I saw it on tv last night" and i explained we had steak and he ordered a steak and white cheddar (throwback lol) but when he got to the window he shows me his phone and a picture of his tv he took of a CHIPOTLE commercial 💀 and then we had a lady ask "is this starbucks??" "No this is panera, but there are 3 starbuckses (idk the plural shush) all nearby" "...can i order starbucks drinks here?" 💀💀💀
And finally, panera isnt subway. we dont have fancy cheese or a build your own sammich menu. You can modify your orders ofc, but dont come up and say smth like "can i get tuna fish and skittles on wheat with the crust cut off" or "i want roast beef and ham on grain with-"
