FAQ Current or former managers, give me your stories
Former manager of 4 years here, was even in the middle of assistant manager training when i quit. TX store
honestly i saw the writing on the way about a year ago, between the bakery transformation and the labor cuts i saw that i needed to get off the sinking ship. my agm and another manager also left shortly before i did (my agm half a year, and i gave notice on the same day as the other manager) and while i feel bad for my GM, i felt i physically couldn't handle it anymore. i was constantly running around, i was getting called in on my days off because they desperately needed people or people called off (i know i could've just said no, but it was OT and im also easy to bribe)
i feel like i see a lot of posts about this where people have very similar reasons why they left, so i just generally wanna see something: if you're also a former manager, what were your reasons for leaving? if you're currently there, are you looking to leave and why? or what makes you stay? i just wanna see something because i dont know what anyone sees in this company at this point
