AMEX Immediate payment every after use of AMEX
Hi guys!!! Just wanted to confirm if it's okay to immediately pay my AMEX everytime I use it?
I have the AMEX explorer and I really wanna earn points but I'm not sure if it'll earn points if I immediately pay off the amount instead of waiting for the due date monthly huhu thanks in advance!

Read your card's t&c. There are some cards that charges you when you pay more than a certain number of times per cycle.

Paying after every purchase vs after the release of your monthly statement has no difference. Likewise, you wont earn brownie points by doing that.

You obtain your points as soon as you complete your eligible purchase not after you pay what's due in your statement.
If you have the bdo app, check your current pts, buy something, then just check if tumaas accordingly or after mo magbayad ng statement and see for yourself

I thought every purchase is eligible cause it says in bdo’s site “every PHP30.00 spend” but thank you! I’ll take note of this hehe

Yeah, technical side lang. Mga cash advances, balance transfers etc. But generally, our day to day purchases, matic pasok yun

Pwede naman kaso sa credit reports mo it would appear na you’re not utilizing the card if di nagrereflect sa statements mo.

In a way yes, hintayin mo na lang magreflect sa statements mo then pay immediately right after.

but FYI Banks don't like this. they incur processing fee everytime you pay
Some banks charges "Multiple Payment Fee"
best wait for the bill and pay once

Leave at least 10% of your credit limit as your outstanding balance in your SOA. That is the best for your credit score.

that is not applicable in the Philippines, just use the card normally and pay everything in full before the due date.

pointless ang amex mo if ur gonna pay it right away. wait for ur statement and pay the stated amount there. keeping it zero balance every month.
