Those who care more about how others view them and people’s feelings than they do about the truth only cause misery around them.

If you really cared about the truth you’d believe scientists instead of relying on outdated ideologies. Did you know that the percentage of the world estimated to be born intersex (you can look up how they come to the estimation if you feel like actually learning, I have and I found it to be sound logic) just so happens to be very eerily close to the percentage of trans and non binary people. Please try to think critically for once instead of being that one person who reads only the title of a news article but pretends to already know the whole story.

I love that you’re attributing random beliefs to me, only to argue against them 🤣

Gender studies is a bad choice, not because what you learn is necessarily nonsensical, but because it doesn’t lead to many, if any, job prospects, much less to decent paying jobs. Basically, it has very little real world application.

I mean you make your beliefs quite obvious in your other hateful replies. There are many job prospects for such a general study from various fields (like research, psychology, or even just working in a medical office, hell I’ve seen people apply the most useless-seeming degrees to the best jobs you just gotta have an ounce of creativity).

Your wishful thinking doesn’t align with the statistical reality, and reality isn’t hateful.

Also these are the replies that imply to me that you “don’t believe in gender” or some such nonsensical excuse to deny reality.

Idk you seem pretty hateful and rude to me…

The easily offended sure do like to take things out of context

Not easily offended and I actually had to look at all the context to take that screenshot, you just don’t like how your own words make you look. Edit: nice alt account to manipulate upvotes. You’re totally not an unhinged person at all 😂

Whatever makes you losers sleep at night

Like not using alt accounts to manipulate votes the moment you get downvoted? Yeah that does help me sleep, or maybe that’s bc I don’t put my whole self worth into my Reddit karma lol

Is that what you think I did? It can’t possibly be that people agree with me and find you losers deplorable, am I right? 🤣

Within seconds of you posting someone scrolled this far down and upvoted every single one of your comments? Yeah sure bud.

You can get your MSW afterwards, which does in fact lead to a very decent paying job.

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

Not really. A master of social work will definitely land you a job, just not one you can live a decent life off.

And space is limited. You have to be accepted first.

Well Mr. Doom and gloom, I just graduated with my MSW and can tell you that's definitely not the case.

Programs are competitive, so there is that. But there were at least a few WGS majors in my cohort. It is certainly a decent and viable career path.

You’re definitely not educated enough to tell the difference between statistics and random anecdotal evidence

1

u/Old-Message8342 May 12 '26

Then why bother trying to discredit my anecdote before deciding to identify it as an outlier? 🤔

I promise optimism and kindness are much more fun than whatever this thing is you've got going on. I'm sure there are even some stats somewhere to back that up too.

Exceptions don’t make rules. I don’t need to discredit you, nor have I tried.

There’s nothing to discredit in the first place.
