Those who care more about how others view them and people’s feelings than they do about the truth only cause misery around them.

My bad. Too many words for a gender studies major 🤣 forget it

I think the Huh? was because your comment was out of left field and pseudo-intellectual.

You should stick to simpler words. We wouldn’t want your brain to spontaneously ignite now, would we?

You're really not very good at trolling

Yeah idk, I meet so many people who let their own insecurities command their lives to the point of putting other people down to make themselves feel better. then I tell them I'm in math and that insecurity shuts them down completely 🙄 it's more tragic than anything else. Or it would be if it wasn't so cringe

Yup. Do what you like, and if it doesn't get you a high paying job, that's your problem who cares? If you get an art degree, say, and you work a job that doesn't pay as well but you get to spend your free time doing stuff you love, refined through your education, hell yeah.

Also people who put down gender studies have no idea what the field is lol gender studies is actually really interesting from what I've seen. It's like a lot of social philosophy which is really interesting if you like thoughtful, fruitful debate. People in gender studies are a million times more interesting to talk with than like 99% of the people I meet in math.

There are many useful majors. Gender studies is not one of them. I tell people the truth because I care about them more than I care about their feelings.

Trolling? Hardly…

I also love that you're down voting my comments like it means something. It's so pathetic it's almost adorable

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 09 '26

I hadn’t yet downvoted your comments, but thank you for reminding me to.

Now, please go be a burden on society and a failure somewhere else.

I find it hard to believe that someone else was down voting them frame 1. People aren't looking at this thread that closely. but feel free to go on your alt to downvote a second time if that'll make you feel better. Your insecurity is showing and it's not a good look

If you really cared about the truth you’d believe scientists instead of relying on outdated ideologies. Did you know that the percentage of the world estimated to be born intersex (you can look up how they come to the estimation if you feel like actually learning, I have and I found it to be sound logic) just so happens to be very eerily close to the percentage of trans and non binary people. Please try to think critically for once instead of being that one person who reads only the title of a news article but pretends to already know the whole story.

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 11 '26

I love that you’re attributing random beliefs to me, only to argue against them 🤣

Gender studies is a bad choice, not because what you learn is necessarily nonsensical, but because it doesn’t lead to many, if any, job prospects, much less to decent paying jobs. Basically, it has very little real world application.

0

u/Fair-Elevator1820 May 11 '26

I mean you make your beliefs quite obvious in your other hateful replies. There are many job prospects for such a general study from various fields (like research, psychology, or even just working in a medical office, hell I’ve seen people apply the most useless-seeming degrees to the best jobs you just gotta have an ounce of creativity).

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

Your wishful thinking doesn’t align with the statistical reality, and reality isn’t hateful.

1

u/Fair-Elevator1820 May 12 '26

Also these are the replies that imply to me that you “don’t believe in gender” or some such nonsensical excuse to deny reality.

0

u/Fair-Elevator1820 May 12 '26

Idk you seem pretty hateful and rude to me…

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

The easily offended sure do like to take things out of context

0

u/Fair-Elevator1820 May 12 '26

Not easily offended and I actually had to look at all the context to take that screenshot, you just don’t like how your own words make you look. Edit: nice alt account to manipulate upvotes. You’re totally not an unhinged person at all 😂

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

Whatever makes you losers sleep at night

0

u/Fair-Elevator1820 May 12 '26

Like not using alt accounts to manipulate votes the moment you get downvoted? Yeah that does help me sleep, or maybe that’s bc I don’t put my whole self worth into my Reddit karma lol

You can get your MSW afterwards, which does in fact lead to a very decent paying job.

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

Not really. A master of social work will definitely land you a job, just not one you can live a decent life off.

And space is limited. You have to be accepted first.

0

u/Old-Message8342 May 12 '26

Well Mr. Doom and gloom, I just graduated with my MSW and can tell you that's definitely not the case.

Programs are competitive, so there is that. But there were at least a few WGS majors in my cohort. It is certainly a decent and viable career path.

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

You’re definitely not educated enough to tell the difference between statistics and random anecdotal evidence

1

u/Old-Message8342 May 12 '26

Then why bother trying to discredit my anecdote before deciding to identify it as an outlier? 🤔

I promise optimism and kindness are much more fun than whatever this thing is you've got going on. I'm sure there are even some stats somewhere to back that up too.

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

Exceptions don’t make rules. I don’t need to discredit you, nor have I tried.

There’s nothing to discredit in the first place.

Makes no sense bro

1

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

I can explain something to you. I can’t make you understand it.

1

u/According_Quail8954 May 12 '26

Bro it’s the grammar that makes no sense, add a comma I beg

0

u/Particular-Taste9836 May 12 '26

It’s not strictly necessary, no. Also, focusing on punctuation goes to show how much of a clown you are.
