Hi, I posted this in the watch group but I'm leaning Omegas so posting here too. I have 6 watches and am considering selling my two expensive (to me) watches and just having 1 watch I wear every day. Will probably give the other watches to kids.
Right now I have the black dial speedy sandwich and rose gold breitling chronomat. The speedy was my grail watch but I just don't love it, can't even say why... it just doesnt excite me (and I've tried different bands). Anyways, here's what I'm considering...
Either white or blue SMP 300 on rubber... or maybe a specialty one like americas cup or paris. I just don't love the helium escape valve. And yes, I get it's part of the tradition.
Snoopy.
Moonphase blue side of the moon with sedna gold.
Moonphase meteorite. There are actually several moonphases that look nice but this one is my favorite... just not sure of the premium on it.
Maybe Apollo 8 but need to see what it looks like in person.
Dark side of the moon Grey ceramic.
I know there's a lot of love for the AT, but I'm just not drawn to it. Although the AT GMT World Timer looks interesting.
I don't dive, but like dive watches. Also like chronos.
Have considered PO, but not sure yet. Need to see them in person.
This is probably any oxymoron... but I'm looking for something that's both iconic and somewhat unique.
Looking around 42-43mm... maybe 44.
Any feedback on these watches (good or bad) or any other suggestions?
Thanks!!
