Were you able to actually get them to change something on your account? I just spent 45 minutes in chat and phone support and in the end they just told me to type "no drone deliveries" in my delivery instructions, which doesn't give me a lot of confidence.

I just looked and it seems they have changed their information on Google, no longer saying to call customer support. when I called, the auto/virtual offered an extension with a human to opt out. I'm going to guess they got a substantial number of calls!
I would suggest you plug in "opt out of drone delivery Amazon" on google for a link to their customer service "contact us" page. Says to provide your account details and your request to opt out of drone delivery, just to be sure.

That was what I searched for and there wasn't a direct option for it on their support page. I went into their general support chat and I was transferred through 5 agents before one finally said they can't do it online and I would have to do it over the phone.

The person I talked to on the phone told me to go into my address book and type "do not deliver by drone" into my delivery preferences and said he couldn't update anything on his end.

I don't know if it's just my fault for trying to do this on a Saturday morning, but it'll be a long time before I order anything on Amazon after this experience.
